I walked in my house. I screamed I'M HOME! Nobody answered. I went to the garage. Both my parents cars were gone. I said great they're still not home. I went to my room and called my mom.
Mom: hey honey
Me: hey what's up
Mom: laying in the hotel room watching TV with your dad
Me: I thought y'all were coming home
Mom: I'm sorry honey our meetings are in 2 days
Me: what I thought they were this morning
Mom: no they told us the wrong date honey
Me: well when will you be home
Mom: I don't know honey
Me: okay
Dad: we're sorry honey
Me: it's okay
Mom: hey I'm sorry to cut this short. But we have to go to sleep. We gotta be up early.
Me: okay goodnight I love you
Mom: I love you too
Dad: I love you too
