"Happy Birthday babygirl."I yelled as I woke Paris up.
"Why you always yellin?"Babyjoe asked me rubbin his forehead.
"Why you even hea'?"I asked him.
"Ion know nigga, I woke up hea'."He said ta' me.
"Boy I know dat, I'm sayin why are you still hea'?"I said ta' him.
"Because it's my daughter birthday."He said lookin ova at Paris.
"She not yo daughter."I said makin a face.
"Y'all shut up."Paris groaned as she climbed off ha' bed.
"Excuse me?"I asked ha'.
"Sorry mommy but y'all always fightin ova me."She said in ha' baby voice.
"She tired of yo ass."Babyjoe said laughin.
"And I'm tired of you."I said muggin him.
"Mommy! Joey! Stop! Pwease, it's my birthday. I just want y'all ta' be friends fa' today."She said lookin between us.
"Aight, I'll keep my thoughts ta' myself fa' today only."I told ha'.
"I guess I can do da same."Joe said shrugging.
"Anyways, come on. I gotta get you ready."I said grabbin Paris hand.
"Lemme dress ha'."Joe said ta' me.
"No, you not finna have my baby dressed like a lil boy."I said as I took Paris in ha' bathroom.
"I won't, I promise."He said followin behind me.
"Get out."I pushed him out da bathroom. "I'll think about it."
I closed da door and locked it. Den I started da water fa' Paris bath. Once it was warm enough and ta' da height I wanted it ta' be, I put ha' in dea'. I washed ha' up and den I washed ha' hair. Once I was done, I got ha' out and put ha' towel wit da hood around ha'.
"Mommy."Paris said as she put da hood on.
"Yeah?"I asked ha' as I tried ta' dry ha' off.
"I don't wanna be dressed like a little boy."She said lookin a little worried.
"I'm not gon dress you like a boy!"I heard Babyjoe yell through da door. "Just open the door and look."
