In life there comes a time where you had a chance to meet your match, your total equal. The one who would turn your world upside down, that one who would make you do the stupidest and craziest decision. They said this is the person whom we always come back. No matter how complicated things would be around them.
For me he was frustratingly stubborn. Isa sa pinaka ayaw ko sa lalaki iyong hindi sumusunod. Why wouldn't I? I hated him for being a superior type but I couldn't stop myself looking on his domineering deep greyed eyes. Oh those fucking seducing eyes.
From the beginning of our story, I really loathed him. Simply, I am a superior type too. That man wouldn't just submit and it freaking annoyed me everytime. I wanted him to play my favorite game but he was too stubborn and too hard to manipulate.
Now we were almost in the end of our story, it was a twist and turn like a roller-coaster ride that never go up. It left me killing, breaking and shattering my own soul.
I looked to his dark eyes. He was looking at me like he hated that I was alive. This man hated my existence. I committed a very terrifying sin to him that no time or money could ever bring back.
"Rake, please, save me from this," I begged. Nahihirapan na akong huminga pero parang wala lang sakanya ang sinabi ko.
He didn't move or give me any kind of emotion. He just stared at me blankly like I deserved the situation I was getting right now.
Was it really too late to ask forgiveness from a man who loathed me? Pumikit ako ng maramdaman ko ang pagbagsak ng katawan ko. They would execute me, I could feel it. I couldn't move and I could barely breathe.
"Goodbye, Ericka Quinn," I heard him whispered. "It was nice playing your game but now it's over."
I guessed this was the end; of us, of me and everything. He gave up on me, susuko narin ako sa paglaban ng buhay ko. Itinaas niya ang kanyang kamay at inilagay sa switch sa gilid. He would kill me. And no one could save me. With a blink of an eye, nag-flashback ang lahat sa'kin.
Goodbye, Rake Alicante. I'm glad I played it with you.
