One w harbors a story
a tattoo on my body
only a few letters inked upon me
but an entire world of emotion
life and feeling behind the euphoria and depression in its meaning
words tell lies. truths. fantasies and realities
what words do to spring hope and later heartache
and who they inspire by bringing forth the authenticity in what he speaks
is the real of what is felt. what i later write. repeat. believe and think about day after day
words are a map of moments
a map to you and me
a map subtracting me
Because there are only so many memories
meant to be.
