Archie and Veronica are singers. Ronica go to Broadway and Archie goes on tour, they don't see each other for a while. A casting recruiter contacts both of them to become lead singers for an extremely popular cover band. They never get to see each other for rehearsals, because of their schedule. But on opening night they immediately recognize each other, and have a sappy reunion on stage.
