I always like Shawn but I never really paid attention to him because he was my best friend's brother and I didn't really want to scare her I mean we hung out when we were little and he was there he got famous he stopped being there all the time and I stopped paying attention to him and I secretly listen to his music and I secretly love him I have a crush on him I'll always be apart of the Mendes army but Aaliyah my best friend in the world since I was 11 must never know

I'm 17 years old I'm a junior in high school I live in Canada Shawn is 20 Aaliyah is 15 I play soccer and ice hockey

Me and Aaliyah the team were on the ice playing hockey at our game then I looked and Shawn was there I was skating and then I got knocked into the glass then I scored

The game was almost over I was looking at Shawn over and over trying to focus this girl pushed me into the side hard and I fell on my back my face hurt like hell

the girl got a penality and I couldn't breathe "the coach and ambulance all came on the ice I was barely moving I had my hands on my face I couldn't move then

I made this screeching noise my they lifted me up on the Gurnee I groaned Aaliyah ent the game Shawn and karen came back because my mom.was at work they pride my hands off my face they were covered in blood

They lifted me into the back of the ambulance and took me to the hospital with the sirens on I was trying to stay awake but my face hurt and my head

Shawn point of view
I was in the ambulance with Austin Aaliyahs best friend in the world

They were cutting off her uniform "talk to her make sure she stays awake I started talking to her "Austin can you here me" I whispered "open your eyes" I told her she opened them but closed them right away she couldn't open them they got her uniform cut off they took her helmet off

They put the hospital gown on her as I talked to her hen they cleaned the blood off her face

At the hospital they found out she had 2 broken ribs a grade 2 concussion a broken collar bone bruises and scratches on her face

They took her to surgery she was in there for an hour then they took her to a room

Back to me I woke up in a bed that wasn't mine I was confused my head hurt I opened my eyes to bright "your awake" someone said "it's to bright" I said the guy turned the light off "better" I opened my eyes looking at this handsome guy "who are you" "it's Shawn" "Shawn who" "Mendes I'm Aaliyahs brother" "whose Aaliyah" "are you fucking with me" "he asked no" "Aaliyah is your best friend"

"Whats happening where am I, I dont understand, my head hurts, my body hurts" I spoke weakly "your in the hospital you got hurt you were playing hockey"

15 minutes later that guy Shawn was trying to explain it but I just didn't remember then 2 people walked in "oh my gosh Austin" the girl said and tried to hug me "who are you" "its Aaliyah " "don't she doesn't remember anything" that Shawn guy said

Someone came in "doctor is she ever gonna remember it takes time but she should, it takes awhile though

It was like 11 oclock that shawn guy stayed the night he was talking to me I liked his voice "do you remember anything"he asks "the last thing I remember is.....I was.....on the ice......playing hockey.....and I kept looking looking at someone but i dont know who and then everything else is a blur "someone pushed you into the glass and then you fell pretty bad"

Next morning I woke up and the nurse brought me breakfast
I ate and I looked at a sleeping Shawn

I started remembering stuff about the past and how I liked Shawn but Aaliyah my best friend in the world since I was little couldn't know and I was still confused then I remembered who I was looking at
