day dreaming

i had a dream

of me

and you,

our hands were locked.

my heart was racing.

we were alone,

and it all felt so real

when you told me

"i love you."

adding a kiss

to my cheek,

i melted.

but then you slipped away.

i began to feel numb.

angry and sad,

yet so numb.

then i realized its all real.

you left.

my body felt cold,

my fingers turned blue,

bags began to form under my eyes,

it felt like only half of me was there.

because you were the other half.

my happy half.
