I just sat and thought about life. About things that made me happy, things that made me sad. The things that I'll miss. The things that I won't. I'll miss sitting home on a lazy day in the rain. I won't miss the Monday morning subway ride to work. I'll miss going shopping on the upper east side with my best friends. I wonder who will come to my funeral. Will anyone come? I had never really thought about that before.
The door opened and in came someone with a mask on. It wasn't a doctor mask. I was a plain white solid mask that covered there whole face. I tried to scream but I still couldn't even talk.
He took off the mask. It was my "ex" boyfriend Luke.
"It was me" he spoke softly. "All me. Everything." He said with a sinister look on his face. "I wish I could help you Katherine. But right now it looks like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place." I couldn't believe what Luke was telling me. I was in love with a psychopath. "All the advice I can give you is..." He paused. He held two fingers to his lips and kissed them. Then he placed his fingers over my own lips while saying the words "you should've said yes my dear."
