He pulls back suddenly.
"What the Fuck did I just do?" Jedrek runs a hand over his face and pacing. I stand a watch him in bewilderment
"Is something wrong?" I finally ask.
"I just kissed a Vampire" he's not answering me but thinking out loud.
"And?" I prompt. He stops and looks down. What feels like an eternity later he looks up.
"I presume you know your way back" it wasn't a question. He turns and strides into the forest.
How does he know I won't just runaway?
Oh, the darn mate bond. It's stronger now that's where kissed. It's almost like a tangible sting tying us together.
I sigh as I too trug into the forest.
Why is this so complicated? Why did my parents need to be two different species? Can't we just be together. Live life? Ugh. Now I sound like those cliché chips in movies. What if I do leave and just try move on. I stop walking.

Only now I notice my instincts basically screaming at me but it's too late.
I'm always to in twined in my thoughts.
I'm surrounded by ,Sniff , the werewolf council soldiers!?

I try run and fight but the council soldiers are as strong as an Alpha and there are very few so them coming after me is concerning. They were black cloaks with hoods and face masks. Eyes as black as the night.
Next thing I know I'm on the floor looking up to the night sky. Stars shining bright. My brain wants me to balance out but won't let that happen. Especially in front of the council.
The face of my mate flashes before my eyes as a boot smashes into my face.
