Chapter Six

Izzy is too scared to pick up the necklace because she is freaked out. She goes downstairs where Malcom and Denis are sleeping.
"Denis!" She Yells.
Denis does not wake up. But Malcom does.
"Izzy, What is it?" Malcom asks sleepily.
Izzy thinks about how she is gonna say these next words without sounding silly.
"The tub cut on by itself." She says.
Malcom laughs.
Yup. Didn't work. Still sounded silly.
"It cut on?" He asks.
Izzy nods.
"By itself?" He asks again.
"Yes!" She Yells.
"Haha, funny. Are you trying to play a trick on me?" He asks.
"No!" She Yells.
Alice, Kayla, and Jenna come down stairs screaming.
"What happened?" Izzy asks.
"Don't tell me you two saw water too." Malcom says.
"Something grabbed Jenna's foot!" Alice yells!!
Malcom laughs.
"If this is what a prank seems like to y'all, y'all aren't good at it." He says.
They beg for him to believe them and the fear on their faces makes him believe them a little more. Izzy tells the other girls what she saw.

"What necklace are you talking about?" They ask her.

"I- I got a necklace." She explains.

"When?" They ask.

"Someone in the group gave it to me."

They all tell her that they didn't get her a necklace. They wake up Denis to see if he got her a necklace.

"I didn't even go in the bathroom, Izzy." He says.

They all wonder who gave her the necklace.

"Show it to us." Alice Says.

Izzy walks them up to the tub and looks in it.

"The necklace is gone!!" She yells.

They run around the house searching for the necklace.

"It's a locket! A gold locket!" She explains.

They split up and try to find it. Alice searches the downstairs area, Kayla searches the porch, the boys search the hallways, and Izzy searches the kitchen. They fail to find it. Then they all decide to go in the bedroom to find an explanation to what grabbed Jenna's foot. Jenna points to the end of the bed that grabbed her foot. They shine a flashlight at it.
"Omg." Says Alice.
The necklace was at the edge of the bed. The necklace is what had grabbed her foot. The locket was open. Izzy quickly grabs it and tries to look what's inside it but before she can, the window flies open and the locket shuts closed. They all scream. The wind from the window finally calms down. Malcom goes over there and slams the window shut.
"What the freak was that?" Malcom yells. He did not use the word freak. Malcom and Alice cursed a lot. The others didn't really curse often.
     Alice shrugs.
"Is your house haunted?" She asked Izzy.

"No. It's that stupid necklace." She replies.

"Nothing like this has happened in my house." She says.
"The necklace was around my neck, I was wearing it. Then I woke up to the sound of the tub. I stepped in the bathroom and my neck started to feel weird, then I look in the tub and the necklace is there! I go downstairs, then you say something grabbed Jenna's foot. And then the necklace isn't in the tub, and it pulled Jenna's foot!" She explains.
"Chill." Says Kayla.
"That's way to confusing.".
"Let's wake up your parents!" Kayla says.
"No way!" Izzy says. "They are super uptight religious people. If we even say that we think there is a spirit in this house, they'll light candles and hang crosses and move billions of miles away."

They continue through the night. They all lay down downstairs in the living room since none of them want to be in the bedroom.
