Spin The Bottle

Chapter Nine

They leave the hideout and they return to Izzy's house so they can change. The girls didn't bring spare clothes so they wear some of Izzy's outfits and the boys wear her oversized black hoodies and the same pants they had on yesterday.
     Izzy changes into a chill outfit. They go to Alices house to get the car so they can go on a drive in Alice's parents car. They take turns driving. None of them had their drivers license but they all knew how to drive. They drive down the road. Izzy puts her feet out the window and the boys stick their heads out the sunroof. For lunch, they go through the drive through at Taco Bell. They eat in the parking lot.
"We have a few more months of school," says Alice.
"Why'd you come so late in the school year?" She asks.
"My mom pretty much said all that already." Says Izzy.
"It was an emergency switch." She finishes.
Alice nods and finishes her taco.
    They all talk and make jokes and tell secrets.
"Do you think the necklace curse is gone?" Kayla asks.
"I just ate this taco and no lettuce fell off so yup I think it's going pretty good." Alice jokes.
They all laugh. Alice drives everyone home and Izzy is dropped off last.
"Bye Alice." She says.
"Bye!".

She walks in her house and sits on the couch. She cuts on the TV. There is nothing interesting so she decides to watch Netflix on her laptop instead. She watches a horror show. She grabs some Cheetos and begins to eat them while watching. Once the movies over, she decides to do something that's not completely and totally boring. She decided to go to a party. Before she started going to Jackson High, she searched the school up on social media and found an account ran by the 12th grade school president. She was throwing a party tonight at 9. Izzy just hangs out at her house until 8:00. Then she begins to get ready. She then takes off her glasses, takes a shower, puts on an off the shoulder purple galaxy dress that stops at the knees, straightens her hair, does her makeup, and puts her glasses back on her face. She then calls an Uber, and heads to the address of the party. She gets there and it's a nice big house.
    She enters. She sees many people, none of which she knows. The party seemed super fun, just one thing she didn't like. Even though she was 17, she didn't like alcohol. She tried it once and it was gross. But under peer pressure, she drank it anyway. So she never liked it. She ignored the alcohol and walked around.
   She heard somebody talking about Alice.

"I heard Alice and Malcom were together." One Says.

"Ew. Why? Alice is ugly. Malcom's too cute for her."

This began to make Izzy mad. Even though she'd just met them yesterday, they had stood up for her, and she knew she had to do the same for them.
