~Chapter 4~

Eren's POV

I walked over to Mikasa's apartment. I kind of regretted not grabbing a jacket on the way out, I mean, the wind is freezing. I just wanted to get out of the house before that cat embarrassed me even more. I finally reached Mikasa's door and rung the doorbell. It took a minute before the door was answered, and out burst a certain brunette with glasses.

"Eren! Hey! Here to get Mikasa?" I nodded quickly.

"Yeah, but can I please come inside? It's freezing out here." She opened the door wider and gestured me in. "Thanks."

"I'll go see if she's ready." I nodded and pulled out my phone as she walked away. I went to my contacts and scrolled down the list.

I clicked 'Armout' and sent him a message.

Bombastic: hey, can I come by and pick you up in a few? Mikasa and I are running a bit late.

The reply came almost instantly.

Armout: of course. I'm still getting ready myself so it'll be a couple minutes.

Bombastic: k, see you in a few.

Hanji walked back out a minute later along with Mikasa. Hmm, maybe I should get her a scarf for Christmas. Yeah, that'd be nice.

"Okay, let's go. We have about ten minutes before class starts so we need to hurry." I nodded and we walked out the door.

"You two have fun!"

We stopped by Armin's house a couple minutes later. He was waiting out front on his swing, as usual.

"Hey guys!" He said in his usual cheery voice.

"H-hey.." I shivered and rubbed my arms. "Let's g-go before I get hypothermia." Mikasa realized I was cold, and being the overprotective friend she is, hugged me tight to share her warmth.

"God, Eren, remember to put on a jacket before you leave." I sighed and looked at her.

"Fine, I will."

We arrived to class just as the bell rung. The teacher looked at us before telling us to take our seats. Armin went to his seat in front of Historia and Ymir. Mikasa went and sat in her seat beside Sasha and Annie. And then I took mine in front of that asshole Horseface.

"Hey Eren." He poked me in the back until I gave in and finally turned around.

"What the hell do you want, Horseface?" He punched my arm and bruised it. He always gets away with things like this because the teacher doesn't give a shit about me.

"Ow,"

"Oops, sorry my hand slipped." I growled and turned back around to see the teacher had stopped what he was doing and apparently had told me and Jean to stop 'horsing' around. I looked up at him and apologized.

He continued to teach algebra or whatever the fuck it was. I didn't really pay attention. My mind then drifted back to Levi.

I thought about what he had said this morning. "Sexy little boy in this show with eyes that look just like yours, that beautiful caribbean color.." 'Was he calling me sexy? And that I had beautiful eyes? No, no, he was just saying that the boy in the show was like that.' I blushed as I thought about it.

~A magical yaoi time skip to lunch~

I went and got in line and got a pizza. I don't know why I get food, I mean I don't eat it. Sasha came and sat across from me, Connie next to her, and Mikasa and Armin next to me. I gave my food to Sasha since she loves food. "Aw, why don't you ever get potatoes? Potatoes are love. Potatoes are life."

"Sasha, they don't have potatoes here, and I'm too broke to go out and buy a potato just so you can eat it."

"Aww, you're no fun.." She giggled and almost choked on her food. So, lunch was almost the same, almost. Almost the same until Jean came up and shoved Armin to the side and sat down next to me. Marco followed him but didn't sit down.

"Jean, please don't be so mean to him. Why can't you two be friends?" We both stared at Marco.

"Because we can't. We're meant to be enemies." I said it without hesitation.

"Oh, come on Eren, Marco's right. We can be friends, right?" He said sarcastically.

"No."

"Oh, come on."

"No."

"Come on, what is it Eren? What's holding you back?" He reached over and gave me a 'playful' punch.

"Because I said so. And also, I was told not to be friends with sarcastic horses." The whole table started letting out 'whoops' and 'ooohh's' and even a few 'he tooold you's'.

Jean then punched me right in the gut, which made me puke up my cereal from this morning. I punched him in the face and before I could do it again, our principal walked up and took us both by the shirt collars.

We ended up in his office. I noticed the shiny plate on his desk that said 'Principal Erwin Smith'. It was clean, but not clean enough to Levi's liking. Jean stood up.

"I'm sorry, Principal Eyebrows, it won't happen again."

"Yes it will, don't lie. I've known you two for too long to even slightly believe that. Also, you just earned another hour in detention for not giving me the proper nickname. My nickname is Captain Handsome Eyebrows. Next time, get it right. Kirstein, you get three hours detention. Jaeger, you have two hours detention. Now the nurse will take care of you two separately and send you back to class. Nurse Ral, take these two one at a time."

"Yes, Principal Smith."

I followed Nurse Ral into her nurse's office where we sat and talked while she bandaged up my face where Jean had hit me. Nurse Ral is also my doctor who loves trees a little too much. She is my personal doctor, only because I am her favorite student and she is certified to be an actual doctor.

I told her about Levi. "Yeah, I found him and another neko person in the park a few days ago, and Mikasa has the girl. His attitude is a little rude, but he's actually kinda..... C-cute.." I blushed a little at my own comment. She smiled up at me.

"Well it sounds like you have a crush if you ask me."

"N-no!" 'Dammit I stuttered. And, oh great now I look like a fucking tomato.'

"Well that sure isn't what that blush you have says about it. But, he sounds just like your type! I ship it!" I turned away. "Well, I guess that's it, you can go to detention now, school is over."

"Okay, bye." I turned and walked out the door. As I passed by, he whispered in my ear, "See you in detention, homo-boy." I growled and walked to the detention room. 'Stupid Horseface.'
