You went to sit down next to Rye and placed your hand on his back.
"Hey what's up Rye" you whispered comfortingly.
"Nothing," he replied,looking away "Don't worry Y/N"
"Well I am worried Rye, because I care about you. If you don't want to tell me that's obviously fine, but I want to help- I hate seeing you like this" you replied stroking his shoulder.

"Well... it's just. I really miss my little brothers." Rye said sadly.
"Aw, rye" you said, holding on to his hand.
"And they miss me too," he continued "Sometimes they text me, they want their big brother back. Now I don't live with them, they're really starting to miss me."
You didn't know what to say so pulled Rye into a tight hug. As you did, Jack pushed open the door:
"Rye are you in here? We need you for filming-" Jack said. As he looked in he saw you and Rye hugging. Jack's face fell as he looked at you.

JACKS POV:
You looked at Y/N hugging Rye and your heart broke. Just as you had started to catch feelings for Y/N, Rye had to go and ruin it. She would obviously like Rye, he was so much funnier and better looking that you.
"Oh sorry I hadn't realised you were together", you said as you ran out of the room.
