I walked cautiously down the corridor of Hogwarts express. It was my first day and I was not too sure what to do. The last compartment I went in, the boys weren't very nice. I finally came across a compartment with two boys in that looked about my age, one with ginger hair and one with black hair.
I carefully slid the door open and stepped inside. "I'm really sorry but please may I sit in here with you? There's no other space," I said softly. "Of course!" Exclaimed the ginger patting the seat next to him. I quickly slid the door shut and sat down. "My name is Ron. Ron Weasley," said the ginger holding his hand out. "I'm Y/N. Y/N Y/L/N," I replied shaking his hand. He smiled and then turned to the black haired boy," Well aren't you going to introduce yourself!" "Oh yeah right sorry! My name is Harry Potter," said the black haired boy giving me a small smile. "Nice to meet you harry! I've heard all about you! Your quite famous!" I grinned. I can't believe I met the Harry Potter! "Anyway! Did your say your name was Weasley?" I asked Ron. "Oh yes! Why?" "Your father is Arthur Weasley! Isn't he! I know all about him being interested in muggles and to be honest I really agree with him! I just think your father is a brilliant man!" I exclaimed getting excited.
Harry's POV I started to zone out when Ron started telling Y/N about his father and muggles. I didn't find it a very interesting conversation. I was too busy thinking about Y/N. I mean she was really pretty and sweet! I also found it interesting how she didn't get too excited or freaked out when she saw my scar... it actually made me relieved. "So Harry! What do you think about muggles?" Asked Y/N's cheery voice. "Oh...w..well I live with my aunt,uncle and cousin who are muggles. B...but there not very nice," I stuttered. Great Harry. Just great well done for stuttering. "Oh! How dreadful!" She exclaimed.
Your POV I couldn't believe it when Harry said he lives with muggles. But I wasn't really concentrating on that because the way Harry stuttered was kinda cute!
Suddenly the train came to a halt and all three of us peered out the window. "Woah," gasped Ron. "It's massive," mumbled Harry. Hogwarts castle was sitting at the top of a small mountain, above a lake. Lights were flickering in every window. "We better get going!" Exclaimed Ron. And with that we left the train and trailed after the other first years. I couldn't wait for the school year to begin!
