ok so it's been a hot minute, my life's been nothing but a train wreak and i'm doing online drivers ed on top of my regular school work so that's all fun. but that also means i get to skrrt skrrt on the streets soon. um quick update, i got a new WORKING phone so that means i can update more frequently and not leave you guys for a month. also ari's new album is a whole bop

you walk downstairs and spot zach standing behind the island as he continues looking at his phone. when he here's your footsteps, his head shoots up to greet you with a smile

'hey baby, where're you going?' he asks as he gives you a quick peck

'i need to go to costco to pick up some groceries since we're running low on some stuff' you reply as you grabbed your car keys from a small dish next to the fridge

'oh can i come too?' he asks as he claps his hands together like a child

you giggle and roll your eyes, 'sure' you reply

he mumbles a quick yes before running upstairs to change. you would've never imagined to find zach as the type to get excited over getting groceries, but now you have.

you park near the large costco and begin your walk up to the large doors with zach trailing behind. he grabs a cart for you and the two of you journey through the aisles looking for food and other necessities.

'hey you think we'll need more water?' you ask him

'yeah probably since the guys will probably be over a couple times' he states

'then get like 3 flats of water' you reply as you scroll through your phone to check your shopping list

'ok what else do we need?' he asks as he places on hand on the cart and one hand around your waist

'we need some frozen fruit, chicken, paper towels, trash bags, juice and just a couple snacks' you reply

he nods as he follows you with the cart to the freezer, 'stay here and watch the cart' you state as you walk into the large frigid freezer to retrieve the bag of frozen fruits.

you walk out shivering as you throw the bag into the cart.

'you cold?' zach questions, losing back a laugh

'no not at all' you sarcastically remark

'well i guess you don't need a hug then' he playfully rolls his eyes

'no no wait i do' you quickly reply as you wrap your arms around his torso

he lets out a small chuckle as he wraps his arms around your shivering body

'warm yet?' he asks

'not yet' you smile into his chest

'you should've listened to me when i said to bring a jacket' he states

'i'll be fine and thaw out in the sun' you reply before letting go

after a long 2 hour hours and $115 later, the two of you finally made it home with all the groceries and necessities. zach proceeded to place the flats of water in the garage of the house you shared with zach, then you went inside to begin putting away the food. when zach was done, he headed inside to assist you as you told him where to place the paper towels and the snacks. once you placed the last bit of food in the fridge, you turn around to find zach sprawled across the couch.

'you tired zach?' you chuckle

'remind me to never go grocery shopping again' he groans

'and why is that' you ask as you walk over and sit next to zach
'it's so tiring and it's so much work' he whines

'you're such a drama queen' you laugh

he groans in response as he sits up and clings onto your body

'can we watch a movie?' he questions as he looks at you with puppy dog eyes

you continue to laugh as he pouts like a child, 'sure, i'll go make some popcorn then' you respond with a smile
