A Visit with Nature

You greet me hello as I enter your world,
a world of beauty, harmony, and peace.

I am happy to see you again, and you I.

I ask how you've been, and you speak of blustery winds, gentle showers, and harmony amongst all life forms that live within you, joyful at what each day brings, all connected lovingly, peacefully, respectfully. All having knowledge of the interconnecting life force that you provide.

And how are you? She asks

At peace now, from the moment I entered your world, and your beauty surrounded me.

I took a deep breath to let your life giving air penetrate my soul and sing to my aching mind. The worries become weightless and scatter, my mind quenched and now sleepy as I drink in your tranquil beauty.

I am so happy to bring you such joy she whispers.

Thank you, I say.

Sadly, I must return to my worries, but I shall see you again, as I wave good-bye.

The warm sun gently pats my back and the gentle breeze bids me farewell, until my heart can sing again with you, Nature.
