Part 59 - Three words

Eirin's POV

''Your my best friend and I know your my other half in this world but I can't tell you this... You're going to kill Harry if I do'' I whispered and he stroked his hand up my arm to my cheek brushing his thumb on my cheek and I smiled a bit.

''Yes I am your best friend and I can read you like a book and I know the thing that happened it something wrong.. Did he abuse you? Did he hit you or something?'' Niall asked worried.

I turned away from Niall walking away just walking around the garden freaking out a little. He followed me quickly grabbing my hand suddenly to turn me so fast slamming his lips on mine. I stared at him both our eyes widened by the sudden crash.

''I didn't... I didn't mean.. I'm sorry'' Niall hurried and I pushed him behind the little three house so that no one could see us. ''He... Niall can you promise me then I tell you.. You can't let Harry know I told you, you can't hit him or anything'' I commanded and he locking his fingers with mine holding my hand tight.

''I told him I went to see Hannah, the girl from yesterday and he got really mad. We argued really bad and suddenly he pushed me making me hit my head, then he slapped me, and....'' I stared sobbing and Niall wrapped his hand my waist pulling me into his chest.

''He forced himself on me.... And I can't even look at him the same way, at least not right now.... I'm scared... I'm so scared.... For a second I though he was going to kill me..'' I whispered stopping a few times to breath because of the small sobs and the struggle to breath because I was holding in so much.

''Why didn't you yell? Scream my name or anyone's name... I can't believe he did that..'' Niall whispered kissing my head. ''I.... wanted to but I just couldn't...'' I mumbled into his neck.

I leaned my head into his neck as he held me tight, I loved his hugs, the warmed me and I felt so safe like no matter what happened he would protect me. I loved his smell, it just was something about his smell, every time I stood close to him and I smelled him I just got overwhelmed by memories and emotions.

Niall's POV

''Are you okay? I want to kill him for hurting you seriously'' I said so pissed off by the fact that my best mate forced and hit my best friend, my family and his family.... His wife...

I wanted to tell Eirin that I would never treat her like that, I would never hurt her. I wanted to tell her that all my feelings for her had never gone away like the thought. I love holding her into my arms, as she cuddles her head into my neck and I feel her breathing on my skin.

I want to hold her like this for forever, she means the world to me and if Harry hurts her again I'll really break every bone in his body. I'm so freaking tired of her being hurt, her crying into my arms every time because of him.

It hurts so much seeing her like this, it breaks my heart every time. We both just stood here holding each other for something that felt like weeks, and I knew she didn't want to go inside again.. She didn't want to go away from this moment and so did i.

''We should go back inside, they're going to wonder'' I gave her a comforting smile. ''Niall?'' She whispered her low sad and incident voice asked me. ''Yes love'' I said back smiling. ''If you could say one last thing to me, what would you say?'' She asked and I knew the answer right away.

Three words... I love you... ''What do you mean? I would probably tell you to come back from heaven because I can't live without you'' I said laughing a little at her being so strange.

''Oh.. I thought maybe.. Those three words...'' She whispered so low I thought over and over again what she said. ''I love you'' I whispered running to the door laughing hard. She ran after me laughing to and we both met Liam.

Harry's POV

I don't know what I feel about Eirin and Niall being together alone so much, I know he is her best friend but sometimes it feels like she's cheating on me with him even if I know she isn't. But she's happy being with him because she can talk to him in a way she can't with me and I know she won't really cheat on me.

Eirin's POV

''So are we going to have a little party tonight or?'' Liam asked me and I know we talked a few days ago about maybe having a party just us but Harry's mom haven't said yes yet to have the twins. ''I need to call Anne and ask her first, she was going to take the twins with her home.

''Call her then'' Liam exited said. I dialed the number inn and I called her.

''Harry we need to get the twins ready, Anne has agreed to watch them for a day or two. She's taking them home to her house'' I smiled dragging out the bag I packed for the twins. ''Is she picking them up or are we driving them there?'' Harry asked carrying the bag to the door.

''I'm going to drive them to her house and I'll go buy something to drink tonight'' I smiled lifting Nadia out of her baby chair. ''Okay, but can we talk when you get home?'' He asked carrying the bags to the car.

''Yes of course, Niall can you take Olivia out?'' I said to Harry then to Niall playing with Olivia. He followed me putting her in the baby car chair. ''I'll be home in a hour or two'' I smiled awkward kissing Harry's cheek before getting in the car and driving away.

Harry's POV

''Mate can I talk to you for a second?'' I asked Niall and he stopped by the front door. ''What is it?'' He answered questioning. ''Is there something going on with you and my wife?'' I anxious asked.

''What?'' He laughed staring at me like I was crazy, but it didn't feel like I was because you can see it in the way Niall looks at her when she isn't watching. And sometimes I can see the ways he stares at him, and she used to look at me that way.

''Lad it just feels like she's cheating on me with you... I know it's crazy but I know you two have a connection she and I'll never have... It just hurts sometimes that she knows she can talk to you in a way I can't'' I looked down on the ground, my thought clouding my judgment.

''Haz, I'll never take her away from you in the way you think. I'm her best friend and only that. Look at me like her gay best friend going on shopping trips with her. It's nothing sexual or things like that'' Niall smiled opening the door and I appreciated him saying that.
