"Jihyun! Stop it! Enough! I told you to stop yelling around the house" Jungkook angrily exclaims from the desk where he was working on a presentation

Jihyun immediately stops jumping around the living room, his lips quivering as he looks at his dad

"Appa..." he tries, patting the taller's lap in an attempt to calm Jungkook down

Jungkook grabs his hand firmly "No Jihyun. Go to your room now!"

Jimin had come out of the kitchen hearing the commotion. Jihyun immediately runs into his arms crying

Jimin peppers soft kisses on Jihyun's face as he wipes away his tears, distracting him as they both stand in the balcony

Jungkook had lost his concentration by then – also feeling guilty for yelling at Jihyun like that. He watches the pair talking in the balcony from where he is seated

"Now baby, tell me.. why were you crying?" Jimin says still holding Jihyun in his arms

The 8 year old sniffles as he places his head on Jimin's shoulders, rubbing his eyes with his small fist "Appa scolded me. He hates me"

"Appa doesn't hate you baby. He really really loves you. Even more than me. I am jealous" Jimin pouts

"Really?" Jihyun's eyes lit up at that

"Yes, really" Jimin says nuzzling his nose against Jihyun's cheek ".. Now tell me why he scolded you"

"Appa told me I could play in the living room as long as I kept quiet.."

"And did you keep quiet? I heard your excited screams all the way from behind the closed kitchen door for more than an hour"

"I know... I forgot to be quiet" Jihyun mumbles

"Your appa didn't say anything to you for an hour. He let you play. When did he yell at you?"

"When I pressed a button on his laptop and the page disappeared. Appa told me not to play with his laptop..."

Jimin smiles looking at Jihyun realizing what he did wrong "You see now, don't you? Appa really loves you, but you didn't do what he asked you to do. It's only fair he gets a little mad at you for that. Appa is working the whole day everyday for us, so that we can stay in this beautiful house, have comfortable clothes, buy you everything you want and need. So don't you think giving appa some silence that he asked is fair enough?"

"..yes.."

"Okay. Why don't you go join your noona and your friends downstairs? I will talk to your appa"

"I wanna say I am sorry first to appa" Jihyun says as Jimin lowers him down

"Appa is sorry too" Jungkook says joining them and crouching down and Jihyun runs into his arms
