**Ahn Ha Na's POV**

Those days spent with Kim Taehyung were surprisingly enjoyable. Initially, I found him dull, but Jungkook and I often visited his house for study sessions, and I quickly realized Taehyung was an excellent teacher. Thanks to him, Jungkook's grades improved significantly, and I was genuinely grateful. However, Jungkook was not the same. He became distant, barely responding to my questions, and his usual warmth turned into cold indifference, making me anxious.

One particular study session stood out.

"So, you can solve this sum like this. Isn't it easy?" Taehyung explained.

"Wow, that's amazing, Tae," I replied. When I noticed Jungkook's disinterest, I added, "Isn't it true, Jungkook?"

He glanced at us briefly before responding coldly, "I don't know."

I was taken aback by his tone. "Thanks, Ha Na," Taehyung said shyly.

"You're welcome," I answered.

Jungkook suddenly announced, "I have to go somewhere."

"Wait, where are you going?" I asked.

"Is it important to tell you everything about me, Your Highness?" he retorted coldly.

"Jungkook, did I do something wrong?" I asked, blinking in shock.

"I'm going. See you later. Bye," he said, and then he was gone.

After that day, Jungkook stopped talking to me altogether. I tried to reach out, but he ignored me. I was deeply anxious about him. During exam days, he isolated himself, losing his appetite and barely speaking to anyone, including his family. I, too, lost my appetite, and my sister Hani noticed something was wrong with me, but I made excuses.

I began ignoring everyone, especially Taehyung. He asked what was wrong, but I brushed him off, consumed by thoughts of Jungkook. Finally, our exams ended, marking the last year of our school life. We were about to graduate, but I couldn't find any happiness because Jungkook wasn't with me.

**Kim Taehyung's POV**

During exams, Ha Na came to my house alone; Jungkook didn't accompany her. While I should have been pleased, I noticed Ha Na wasn't her usual self. She was silent, lacking her usual fiery temper. It was evident something was wrong between her and Jungkook, but I didn't pry, assuming it wasn't my business. Yet, I couldn't help but feel concerned.

The day before our graduation ceremony, my childhood friend Jimin approached me. I had been avoiding him due to a misunderstanding.

"Hey Taehyung, are you still mad?" he asked.

I remained silent.

"Please, Tae. I know it was my fault, but I was only trying to say you should change yourself for the better," he pleaded.

"Like you care!" I replied coldly.

"I do care, but you don't understand me, Tae. Anyway, I'm sorry. Can we be friends again? Come on, Tae, it's our graduation ceremony soon. We'll be graduating. Please?" he begged, and his sincerity melted my resolve.

"Aishhh, okay. But don't say anything bad about Ha Na, arasseo?" I told him.

"Ne, so friends?" he asked.

"Friends," I smiled, and we shook hands.

Later, I confided in Jimin. "Jimin-ah," I called.

"Hmm?" he replied.

"I'm going to tell Ha Na about my feelings," I said.

"Seriously? Well, best of luck, man," he replied.

"Thanks!" I said, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement.

**Ahn Ha Na's POV**

Finally, it was our graduation day. Despite the anticipation, I felt no joy. My younger brothers, Yeonjun and Soobin, wished me luck, but I couldn't muster a proper response. My sister Hani was in Busan for work, leaving me to face this day alone.

Everyone gathered, celebrating their achievements, but my eyes were fixed on one person: Jeon Jungkook. Surprisingly, I scored 88%, Jungkook got 74%, and Taehyung, the topper, achieved 97%. I was thrilled for Jungkook's improvement, yet an underlying sadness lingered.

Fifteen minutes later, I received a text from Jungkook:

**From: Jungkookie💜**
**Meet me on the rooftop in 5 minutes.**

I quickly replied, **'Okay, I'm coming. Wait.'**

I rushed to the rooftop, my heart pounding. Jungkook stood there, hands in his pockets, staring at the sky.

"What is it?" I asked shyly.

"Oh, you came," he said.

I remained silent.

"Well, you look really beautiful as usual," he said, his tone devoid of warmth.

"What did you want to tell me, Jungkook?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"Let's break up," he said.

The words hit me like a punch to the gut. "Wh-what did you just say?" I asked.

"You heard me right. Let's break up, Ha Na," he repeated.

"Don't you love me now?" I asked, tears welling up.

"Who's saying that?" he replied coldly.

"Don't do this to me, Jungkook. You know I can't live without you. You're my everything. Please, don't do this," I begged, clutching his legs, tears streaming down my face.

"What did I do wrong, Jungkook? Tell me," I pleaded, and then I heard it—his sobbing.

"What did you do? Ha Na, you know you're my everything, but you didn't bother to notice," he said, lifting me to my feet, gripping my arms tightly. The pain was nothing compared to the heartbreak I felt.
