**Episode 9**

---

In a lavishly decorated room, Mr. Lee, with a furrowed brow, faced his son, Minho. "I can't believe you're my son. I don't know what I did in my life to deserve you, Minho!" he said, his voice filled with a mix of anger and disappointment.

"I was mad, Aboji," Minho replied, his tone defensive.

"Mad? Why? What did they do to you?" Mr. Lee demanded, his voice rising.

"She slapped me, and that boy—" Minho began.

"Shut up, Minho! Shut your freaking mouth!" Mr. Lee interrupted. "She slapped you, and you raped her? You killed a boy, Minho! Are you even in your right mind?" His voice thundered with outrage.

Minho fell silent, unable to defend his actions.

"What should we do now, Mr. Lee?" Mr. Seo asked, his face reflecting concern.

"Send that bloody jerk to America. I can't handle this any longer. It's about my family's reputation, and he's ruined it," Mr. Lee ordered.

"Ne, Mr. Lee," Mr. Seo responded.

"But, Aboji—" Minho began to protest.

"Don't call me Aboji! You are no longer my son. Get out and don't come back," Mr. Lee roared.

With that, Minho was cast aside, and despite the efforts of the Jeon and Choi families to seek justice, nothing changed. Mr. Lee's influence and power ensured that the case was suppressed, and the truth remained buried.

**One Year Later**

The atmosphere at Seol Hospital was charged with anticipation and nervous energy. "Hello? Is Mrs. Choi here?" a voice asked.

"Yes?" Mrs. Choi responded, her heart racing with hope.

"I'm from Seol Hospital. I'm pleased to inform you that your daughter, Ahn Ha Na, has woken up," the caller said.

"Ne? Th-thank you so much! We're coming right away," Mrs. Choi replied, tears of joy streaming down her face.

When the Choi family arrived, they found Hana sitting silently. Her once vibrant personality was now a shadow of its former self. She barely acknowledged their presence, her eyes fixated on a photograph of Jeon Jungkook. The image of her lost love was a constant reminder of the pain she had endured.

"I don't know what to do, Hani. Since she came home, she hasn't spoken a word. She just stares at his photo," Mrs. Choi lamented.

"Don't worry, Eomma. It will be alright. Give her some time," Hani comforted, hugging her mother tightly.

**Eight Years Later**

Los Angeles, U.S.

"Oh my God, look at that man! He's so incredibly handsome and hot. I'm dying," a young woman exclaimed.

"Stop it, Ellie. He'll hear you, and if he does, you'll be in trouble," her colleague warned.

"Why?" Ellie asked, puzzled.

"Don't you know? Our CEO isn't like that. He hates attention from women. You're new here, so you don't know. Be careful," her colleague advised.

"Oh, I see. So he's the CEO," Ellie said, understanding dawning on her.

In the span of nine years, everything had changed. It was now 2018, and the world had shifted dramatically for one man in particular—Kim Taehyung.

"Mr. Kim, you have a meeting with Mr. John today," his secretary announced.
