Description:

The story is about a young woman called Shin Jihyun, who ends in a coma after a car accident a few days prior to her wedding. She refused to die at the happiest point of her life, thus her time wasn't due at the date of the accident, Jihyun was given a chance to take the journey of 49 days.

In the body of another person Shin Jihyun's only task is to collect 3 tears of people loving her genuinely and when that was accomplished she would be able to return to her own body and live again.

Review:
The female lead, Jihyun, is innocent to the point some friends find her annoying but to be honest I just think it's a rare quality in the world today which should be appreciated more than disregarded.

Jihyun is silly adorable and brave. She wanted to make a bargain with the grim reaper, saying that she could probably get more than three years, and if he could ask his superiors to prolong her life in form bonus years for those extra teardrops.

She is simpleminded, even the grim reaper give her the approve for being such an innocent princess. I love their relationship by the way, Jihyun has no sense of fear when facing the supposed death god.

The structure of the plot is not based with a pond of mystique but of religious reasoned. More than supernatural I would rather say it resemble an unnatural phenomenon like time travel, transmigration etc. There is a link and reason for everything and not mixed by incoherent coincidences. The setting is realistic and resemble much of the physical world so there is no super fancy stuff.

I watched it while it was airing so I experienced the pain of waiting a whole week to get two episode 😭 which was ugh!

49 days was one of my first Korean dramas. It left an huge impact and great impression of the drama world which I really wanted to share with you guys, and hence why it became the first drama of recommendation in this book.

It's good to the point I wanted to write just watch it instead of giving a review but yeah, that doesn't make sense with the purpose of this book right? If you are to a little twist of magic and romance this is definitely a must watch. Plus it's also witty in a good way.
