They have taken out what was stuck in my guts (Chris and Piers) but they have stared at me strangely cause I have not screamed in pain

- for your question I don't feel pain, and I was made so like this

I have said with a fake smile

- how is that even possible?

Chris asked curious

- well I am infected, but I have taken control of it, so it would never be able to take over me
- I wish I could do the same

Chris said smiling and gave me his hand so I would stand up, I took his hand

- no wonder why the DSO took you in

Piers said

- yeah

Then the 3 of us went on our way to Umbrella's lab

Leon POV

I was still frustrated, I was supposed to protect her as my girlfriend, but I need to push it aside for the meantime but I can't, anyway while I was still lost in thought we have already reached the elevator

- oh god

Claire said as she saw first the destruction

- do you think that there are still people alive down there?

(I know that it's a stupid question but Claire made the question to try to distract Leon of what happened to (y/n))

I have snapped out of my thoughts at the sudden question

- let's go down there and see

I have said as I have gotten first to climb down the rope and to be honest if it wasn't for the gloves that I have on, it would be freaking painful to climb down the rope, and after me Claire climb down too

(Y/n) POV

We were walking cautiously in the noisy hallways

- don't want to know what the freak is down here, but something tells me that soon enough would be Lickers waiting for us

The creepy zombie moaning was starting to get louder,  but I was obviously with my gun ready, the yellow-green walls were like a 100 years old (well, for me) then the zombie herd appeared

- it's game time

I have said as I fired the first zombies to appear, Chris and Piers did the same thing but there were so many that to be honest we could end up being bitten at any moment, there was one that threw itself at me but I have successfully taken my knife out and since the zombie was moving so much that I have taken its jaw off well, it was better than being bitten then I have taken out its eye (well better said explode his eye) then I have finally struck the zombie in the forehead

- um, (y/n)...
- yeah I know there's too many of them

I have taken out a granade and threw it at them

- run!!!

I have shouted and we have all went under cover (reason- there were stuff that if it touches fire, you know)

Leon POV

We have both Claire and I heard an explosion

- what was that?
- I have the same question over here

Claire said

- we should hurry

Then when we saw the opportunity to jump down we did and dashed towards where the sound came from

- that was a close one

Piers said

- maybe you should warn us sooner?

Chris said with a nervous chuckle

- it just everything happened so fast that I couldn't even wait any longer, you know too many zombies to take care of
