Barry, a better man

Y/n have been stuck with Barry in this terrible nightmare , but she didn't care. At least she is getting out with company in this hell-hole, but now the question is, is she going to be happy with a stranger? (if that's what you would call it)

Y/n - are we there yet?

Y/n said sadly cause she was getting too tired of jumping around and running, then Barry turned to her

Barry- we still have not gotten there, but if you want we can rest a little

Y/n- we still need a cabin or something to take cover for tonight, since it's getting too late, and I'm starting to get hungry

Barry looked y/n with a concerned expression, but he nodded since he was getting hungry and it was getting late

Barry- ok, we need to take cover

He searched on his soroundings, and saw a cabin, the worst  part is that they needed to walk, a lot to be honest, only by looking y/n felt like dying

Y/n- why it couldn't be any closer???

Barry knew that since y/n is a normal person she wouldn't walk any longer since they have spent almost all day walking, jogging, and jumping around, so he carried her on a bridal style and since y/n wasn't used to being carried on a bridal style she was quickly alarmed and she couldn't resist to not being blushing, and she was red as a tomato

Y/n B..., Barry what are you doing?

Barry-I know that you can't any longer, so I have decided to carry you so you wouldn't get more tired that you already are

Y/n blushed even more that she really needed to hide her face

Barry- what?, Are you already embarrassed?

Y/n- s, shut up!

Barry put y/n down when he reached the cabin as y/n quickly parted from Barry's side so she could get a place to prepare something for both of them to eat, Barry only sat down to rest

Y/n- Barry, do you like soup?

Barry- anything is ok

Y/n- ok

Then y/n felt something that it was a long time ago that she have ever felt for a man, love, when she noticed she blushed even harder, but she wanted to ask a question about something important first

Y/n- Barry, do you have a wife and children?

Barry- I do have a daughter, but I don't have a wife, sadly

Then Barry paused

Barry- why do you ask?

Y/n- I don't know, just curious

Barry just pushed it aside and believe her, but y/n was wondering if she should tell him that she feels something for him

Y/n " nah, too soon for him to know"

Y/n- how old is your daughter?

Barry- 25

Y/n- is she a good kid?

Barry laughed at the question

Barry- you could say that again, but at least we are a happy family, and she is the only person that I have left of the family

Y/n- sorry, I shouldn't have asked

Barry-it's ok...
