FIRE

The match sparked to life,

Coals glowing red,

As the hearth burst with flames,

It breathes and grows,

Burning through the logs,

A treacherous sea of flames,

A blazing miniature sun,

So much destruction,

So much power,

Daring the stoker,

Till finally, it relents,

Embers and ash.
