We Weren't Expecting This

        The next day we continued walking and when we hit the cave it was pitch black inside. We didn't know what to do until Phil came up with an idea. He found two sticks and started rubbing them together. That usually never works but, after a little while if actually did! One stick caught on fire and he handed it to me. So I took it and we headed into the cave. Water was dripping from the ceiling of the cave and there was green gunk all over the place. The further in we went the more gunk there was.

        We finally got to a place in the cave where there was a giant drop to the ground lots of feet bellow and there was a rope bridge. At the other side we saw the portal and the beast who protected it. He saw us too and started to growl. It was a tiger but, he was a little bigger than us. He also had crazy red eyes and he was covered in green gunk which I guess made him stronger!

        We slowly started walking across the bridge. When we got about halfway the tiger got mad and started to charge at us. Dan and I took out our swords and blocked his charge. He was really strong but, we held him off. Then we saw the rope bridge start breaking. Me and Dan looked at eachother and Phil and Sabrina were trying to help us keep the tiger steady. But, we both knew what to do so I yelled at Phil and Sabrina.

        "You two have to go now we will hold him off get to the portal and get home!"

        "Leah me and Phil aren't leaving you two!"

        "Leah and me will be safe there is another crystal in this place somewhere and we will find it! Now go the rope bridge is breaking!"

        Phil grabbed Sabrina's hand and jumped over us and the lion. Then Phil looked back.

        "Be careful you two and we are sorry!"

        Then I took over of my hands off of my sword, grabbed the crystal off of my neck, and chucked it to Phil. He caught it, put, it in the portal, and the portal turned on and jumped in with Sabrina. Then before fading away the rope bridge broke and Sabrina and Phil yelled.

        "Dan!! Leah!!"

        Then that was it, me and Dan heard the snap and we fell with the tiger plunging to our deaths.... But, was that all for me and Dan? Were we going to make it back home to Sabrina and Phil? Well that is another story to be told......
