Saturday morning was rainy with a cool touch to it.
I sat on my porch, in safety from the rain, watching the rainy morning. After a second I noticed the boy, Alex, he was in his window.
He had a dazed look on his face while he watched the rain as well.
My mom came out and said she was gonna go say "Hi" to his family, and asked if I wanted to come.
I agreed and as we walked in the rain over to his house I felt butterflies in my stomach. I was surprised to see Alex when he opened the door.
His curly medium length hair fell over his eyes. Seeing him this close, having to look up to him, I felt a hot sensation rising on my cheeks.
He smiled and asked for us to come in. I followed my mom into the house. It smelt of lemon grass and citrus. I admired the calm colors of the walls, as it put me into a daze.
The only thing that brought me back was "Hi, my name is Alex", I froze before replying "Victoria, but I go by Tori".
He smiled a warm inviting smile. It made me blush even more to see him smile.
In the silence my mom's voice spoke up "Alex why don't you take Tori up to your room, to get to know you" she gave me a slight wink which made me hate the idea.
