Jungkook quickly ran towards the rooftop and as he guessed taehyung was standing there, hands on the railing and legs crossed.

"Taehyung" he called and the other turned his face only to turn it back

"Look taehyung I am really sorry. I never wanted to yell at you. I was panicked that time" jungkook said coming closer

Taehyung gave no response

"Taehyung, I am really glad that you helped me, that you took care of me that day" he turned taehyung to face him

"I am really happy that I met you, I never knew that I would make friends with the person I hate so much. You've always took care of me whenever you could have. I know you've been a brat at times but you're changing now. Your past is leaving you, you can live freely now" taehyung was a bit moved by the speech and that's where he realized how much of special he is to jungkook

So maybe it is time for him to tell his feelings

"Jungkook I want to say something"

That's where jungkook feared, bile forming in his liver as adrenaline rushed through his body.

He was still debating between his heart and his brain

"I-i love you jungkook" taehyung said, blushed as he spoke, finally a heavy burden from his heart lifted

Jungkook took few seconds to register what he said.

Even though his heart was beating out of his chest

He decided to listen to his brain

"T-taehyung, I love you too. But" he sighed

"But, I am your teacher, taehyung and you are my student. Even if we love each other, we can never be what we want to be. I truly love you from the bottom of my heart, you complete it but the fact is our love―it's unrequited. We can't love. It's not in nature"

At that time, taehyung broke. Painful tears coming out of his eyes

The pain he was receiving today was much bigger than the pain he had when he saw Minho cheating on him

He should have known that jungkook didn't love him

"I love you taehyung but, we can't"

"Lies. All lies. You don't love me. You are just showing sympathy towards me" taehyung said in a cracky voice as fat tears rolled his eyes.

Seeing taehyung in so much pain, jungkook felt a big pang in his heart as a lump formed in his throat

"What will the people say, taehyung?"

"You care what the people say?!" Taehyung was yelling as he sobbed

"You―you made me realize that I am not made to be loved"

"It's not like that taehyung. I do love you, but we can't be together. Why don't you understand?"

"No! Why don't YOU understand that all you fucking care is for people and not us?!" Taehyung said as he continuously wiped the tears coming from his eyes

"Taehyung it would be better for both of us. I don't want people to judge you"

"You're being ridiculous jungkook. If you would have really loved me, you would have fought with the world to make me feel better. I would have never cared what the people would have said until you were there for me. But the truth is, you aren't"

He started to leave but stopped in his tracks

"I'll show you what you lost jungkook" he said before he ran away leaving a broke jungkook

Even though jungkook said all those words he was feeling such pain in his heart. But didn't he do it for the happiness of both of them?

But oh well, he was denying the fact that the source of his happiness was taehyung

Whom he just lost because of his stupidity

Will he ever come back to him again?

He's feeling guilty to make taehyung feel so broke

But the fact is, he was breaking too.

He dropped on the floor as he let tears freely fall from his eyes

With only one sentence going in his mind

"I love you taehyung"
