I got back from riding and I rolled my eyes seeing everyone at the house. I guess it's only for one day. I put the horse in the barn and walk back to the house. I walk up to Lucas and put my arm on his should, he doesn't move knowing it's just me.
"So Riley, Maya how's your summer going" I say
"It's going well I'm just exciting for high school to start" Riley says and I nod
"Eh it's a good start for my life in high school" I say and walk up the porch
"Wait" Farkle says and I turn to see him I lean on the house
"Um I just wanted to say sorry for early and that um.." he says and I get confused
"That's it" he says and I nod at him
"Thanks and it's no problem I just gotta realize that it's time to let go of this stuff" I say and walk into the house and I hear Maya and Riley follow me in and we go to my room I sit down at the window as they sit on the bed
"You know I don't think we showed you the bay window" Riley says and I look at her "huh" I say
"The bay window is where we talk about all are life problems" Maya says and I nod "you don't talk a lot don't ya" Riley blurts our
"Ever since I was little I was told talking gets me in trouble" I say and they nod sadly

"I don't know it's something I'm not proud" I shrug " come on it's not that bad" Riley says and I glare at her
"Maybe one day I'll tell you" I say and it gets quiet for a while until Maya says something
"So you finally got farkle to be speechless" I lay down sighing
" I don't know if I could date farkle" I say
"What do you mean by that" says Riley as they both got closer to me
" I mean like what if he doesn't like the old me and I'm trying so hard to be better and so he sees that he hasn't seen actually me" I say
"Give it time" Maya says and I scoff
"Why should I listening to you y'all you guys are the one in the triangle" i hear them gasp
" I'm just gonna ignore him during the rest of the summer besides we start high school soon we will find other girls anyway" I sigh
"Come out with us" Riley says and I look at her "is everyone going" I ask and they nod and I sigh and stand up "fine I'll go but we gotta get dressed" I say and they nod

I walk into the living room seeing everyone talking
"You ready" I ask and they look up Maya and Riley I look up in awe and boys smiled and Farkle looks like he is going to pass out but I ignore looking at him. We walk out of the door and head to the festival
We arrived at the festival and stand waiting for the music to start we were chatting talking about how high school is going to be then we heard a band start to play
After a few hours of the band playing they started to play slow songs and of course guess who was standing next to me.
