Luna Nightshade and The Thief of Olympus

Welcome to Camp Half-Blood

While Peter and I were running monsters kept chasing us calling me the thief of Olympus. The Minotaur was in the lead. So I pulled out the scythe from Demeter named λουλούδι or Flower in English. It appears in the form of a black and silver diamond scythe necklace so I twist it and it becomes a scythe. It is made of Olympian gold and celestial bronze. I hurl the scythe at him and he ducks but he didn't duck quick enough and his horn got cut off. My scythe comes back to me so I make it a necklace again and put it back on my neck. Minotaur felt where his horn used to be but it's not there. Now he's mad. Peter looked over his shoulder and looked at me with concern.

"What did you do?" he asked.

"I cut off his horn and now he's mad, " I told him. We continue to run. I pull out misery and stab the Minotaur and let's just say only the horns and gold dust were left. I grab the horns and continue to run with Peter by my side.

When Peter and I got to Camp Half-Blood, Chiron was waiting by the entrance to the camp. Chiron was in his wheelchair to hide his horse legs. "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, the camp for demigods," Chiron told me.

"Good to see you too Mr. Maximoff," I said.

He smiled at me and told me, "Please call me Chiron."

"Whatever," I said.

"Sorry to interrupt the moment but can you explain how you knew about the gods even though no one told you about them?" Peter asked me.

"You will see when I'm claimed," I told him.

"Peter why don't you show Ms. Nightshade around then bring her to the Big house after your done," Chiron told him.

"Ok," Peter said. Chiron goes over to the big house, which leaves me alone with Peter. "Will you explain to me now?" he asked.

"Nope," I told him, "let's go, you have a tour to give me," So he showed me around and the cabins were in the shape of a Greek omega. We put my stuff in Hermes cabin.

"So the cabins and their godly parent is cabin 1 is or the weather makers, cabin 2 is Hera or the guardians of family, cabin 3 is Poseidon or the swimmers, cabin 4 is Hades or the ghost and dead summoners, cabin 5 is Demeter or the gardeners, cabin 6 is Hestia or the guardians of hope, cabin 7 is Ares or the warriors, cabin 8 is Athena or the strategist, cabin 9 is Apollo or the healers, cabin 10 is Artemis or the hunters, cabin 11 is Hephaestus or the builders, cabin 12 is Aphrodite or the charmers, cabin 13 is Hermes or the tricksters, cabin 14 is Dionysus or the actors. Each cabin can do their own activity that they do when they aren't doing the required activities. The required activities are archery, sword fighting, spear fighting, dagger fighting, Greek monsters 101, hand-to-hand combat, Greek history, learning Greek, and working with your powers. Some of the activities that aren't required are music, gardening, arts and crafts, setting traps, making weapons, training, hunting monsters, canoeing, and many other things. On Saturday we play Capture the Flag which is tomorrow," he told me "oh and at dinner, you eat at your godly parent table unless you aren't claimed then you stay with Hermes cabin, the mist hides the camp, and at the end of the summer we have a dance." The mist is magic that Hecate makes to hide the greek world from the mortal world and make demigods or even gods see what they want to see. But some mortals are born, able to see through the mist. These mortals are called clear sighted mortals.

"Who are the cabin counselors?" I ask.

"Cabin 1 is Sky Wilson son of Zeus and the leader of camp, cabin 2 is in honor of Hera so no counselor, cabin 3 is Wade Barton son of Poseidon, cabin 4 doesn't have anyone in it until we find a child of Hades, cabin 5 is Clove Parker daughter of Demeter, cabin 6 is to honor Hestia, cabin 7 is Rayna Mason daughter of Ares, cabin 8 is Natasha Osborn daughter of Athena, cabin 9 is Clint Kentwell, son of Apollo, cabin 10 is only for when the hunters of Artemis are here so no counselor, cabin 11 is Harry Banner Son of Hephaestus, cabin 12 is Pepper Rodriguez daughter of Aphrodite, cabin 13 are Pietro and Wanda Romanoff children of Hermes, and cabin 14 is Tony Odair Son of Dionysus and Legacy of Athena and Hephaestus. Let's go to the big house so we can talk to Chiron," he told me.

When we get closer the big house I see Chiron and a kid talking. Peter and I continue walking to the big house, I can make out some more details on the kid, he is about 16, short dirty blonde hair, electric blue eyes, pretty tall, with a scar that goes from the corner of his eye to somewhere on his chest."Ms. Nightshade this is Sky Wilson Son of Zeus and leader of the camp." Chiron told me.

"Chiron please call me Luna or Moon, not Ms. Nightshade," I look over at Sky and say, "nice to meet you Sky."

"Nice to meet you too. Which name is your real name?" he asks.

"Luna is my real name but I go by Moon," I told him.

"Okay well it was nice meeting you Moon but I have to go," he said. Once he was gone Chiron told us dinner would be ready in a few minutes. Peter dropped me off at Hermes cabin where he introduced me to two people. The girl had dark brown hair with scarlet red highlights that goes to her waist and scarlet red eyes. She was wearing a red leather jacket with a black shirt and skirt that made her pale skin pop. She looked about 13. The boy, on the other hand, had short silver hair with dark brown roots and silver eyes. He was wearing a tight blue and silver shirt with black pants. He also looked about 13.

"Pietro, Wanda I would like you to meet my friend here Moon Nightshade, Moon meet Pietro and Wanda Romanoff the twins and Co-cabin counselors of Hermes cabin," Peter said.

"Nice to meet you, Moon," Pietro spoke with a heavy Romanian accent. "I am the Fastest child of Hermes alive." Pietro bragged. Wanda hit him over the head with four hands. "Oow, what was that for Wanda?" Pietro complained.

"To get you to shut up and stop bragging about yourself so I can introduce myself." she also spoke with a heavy Romanian accent. "my name is Wanda I don't have powers like other children of Hermes but I am blessed by Hecate so I can do what her children can do." she finished.

"Nice so you're basically a sorceress daughter of Hermes," I asked her.

"Basically," she answered.

Just then there was a sound of a horn in the distance. "Let's go it's time for dinner. Basically, you will sit with us till you get claimed." Wanda told me. so we walk to the dining pavilion that is made out of Greek columns and stone tables with designs for your Godly parent. I follow Wanda to the Hermes table and sit. To get our food we just had to grab a plate and cup and wish for a certain thing and you got it. Pietro had a steak and blue Powerade, while Wanda a salad with water. I got the same thing as Wanda. Then everyone got up to sacrifice their food to the Gods. Once that was done we all went back to eating. Towards the end of dinner, I got claimed. I had a skull with all my patron's symbols over my head.

Chiron spoke first with his brown horse legs trotting nicely, "All hail Luna Nightshade daughter of Hades the god of the underworld, death, and riches. Champion of Hestia the goddess of home, the hearth, and family. Demeter the goddess of the Harvest, fertility, agriculture, and the seasons. Apollo the god of archery, healing, music, prophecy, the Sun, poetry, Light, art, and oracles. Hermes the god of Messengers, Travelers, thieves, Trades, Sports, and messenger of the Gods. Artemis the goddess of the hunt, wilderness, maidenhood, the Moon, and Archery. Styx the titaness of the Rivers Styx, Oaths, broken oaths, and rash. Lethe the titaness of the River Lethe, forgetfulness, and memories. Acheron the titaness of the river Acheron, pain, and anger. Phlegethon the titaness of the river Phlegethon, Liquid Fire, and Healing. Cocytus the titaness of the river Cocytus, sadness, and misery. Britomartis the goddess of Hunting and fishing nets. Melinoe the goddess of ghosts. Thanatos the god of death, The muses the goddesses of Poetry, literature, science, art, and inspiration. The bearer of the curse of Achilles." he finishes and everyone is bowing to me.
