I finished eating my food and went back up to the room. The sound of the shower running filled the room as I sat on the bed waiting for Nick to get out.

"hey babe" He smiled walking out of the restroom with the towel grabbed around his lower half.

"hey" I reply

"what's wrong"

"why is alexys texting you?" I asked causing him to panic

"w-what are you talking about?" nick stuttered

"she text you last night when you were in the restroom and the boys said you were on your phone the entire show yesterday"

"wait you're checking my phone now? and which one of the boys said that what the fuck?" he asked aggressively

"nick, I just want honesty. It's a simple question. I'm not accusing you of anything."  I replied calmly trying to change the direction of this argument

"we were just talking about old high school stuff and reminiscing, not a big deal." he finally admits

"sort of a big deal if you felt the need to hide it Nick"

"it's not so please drop it for tonight bella"

"why tonight?"

"she's coming to the show" he drops the ball.

"are you serious? when were you going to tell me?"

"why are you being so jealous?" nick questioned me

"she's your ex girlfriend, how am I supposed to react?"

"you obviously don't know how to act since you've never had a boyfriend in your life"

I eyes fell to the ground at his last remark. He was right I hadn't had a boyfriend, but this wasn't part of being in a relationship.

"I'm going to go get some air, I'll see you at the show" I cried running out of the room.

"Bella, I'm sorry" nicks voice yelled from down the hall. I was too far by now, his voice sounded only like a whisper.

I found a coffee shop around the corner and decided to take a break from the running thoughts in my head. Nick has all the rights in the world to talk to whoever he pleased, it just hurt that he thought I'd be malicious about my intent.
