"Why couldn't Toritsuka come again?" Saiki asked. Usually he didn't want him around, but he feared that the fortune teller had an ulterior motive.

He took a blissful bite of coffee jelly, waiting for an answer.

"Well, babe..."

What did she just call me?

"It's third year! And you know why I came to PK. I'm not waiting for us to be old geezers before we get to the dessert!" Aiura had absolutely no shame.

Woah, she went straight to the point.

Saiki knew she had feelings for him, but that was only because before all he'd hear was how much she shouted her love in her head. He never paid attention aside from that.

"Yeah. No. That prediction of yours was way off."

"Well maybe, but come on! You're graduating soon? Haven't you thought of romance at all? Maybe you should let loose! Settle down! I mean, isn't there any girl you think of?" Aiura whined. "....Or maybe you're into guys?!"

"Absolutely not." Saiki sliced her suggestion into a thousand pieces. As much as romance annoyed him, it's what so many normal people cared about. Since he had lost his powers, he fit right into that category. She wasn't wrong.

"Romance isn't my thing. How does it even feel? The only love I have is for this jelly." Saiki ate his last bite. "I just can't get enough of it."

Aiura sighed, grabbing her bag. "Oh well. What did I expect? I have tough competition!" She winked. "Ready to go?"

-

"Why hello! Mom, Dad, and my dear little brother! How are you?" Kousuke had appeared on the Saiki's flatscreen during dinner.

"Big Kuu!"

"Ah, mom! How are things? Anything new?" Kousuke waved.

"No, nothing much! Kusuo's graduating this year and we're savouring each day before he does!" Kurumi smiled. "How about you?"

Kusuke stared at Kusuo dead in the eye. "Now that Saiki's powers are gone, I'm looking for a new way to beat him!"

What idiot would announce something like that out loud? Oh right, he's so smart to the point he's downright dim.

"You must be thinking that I'm stupid. But Kusuo, even if you knew or not, my plan is about to hit you hard. And since you're powerless, almost, it's going to rock your world!" Kusuke cackled.

"Oh, you two have always been so competitive." Kuniharu laughed. "But Kusuke, I'm here too y'know!"

His oldest son ignored him completely. "Well, Kusuo? How about you tell me how things have been? Not pleasant I'm guessing?"

Good grief.

"Things might be different but it doesn't mean it's worse." Kusuo began. "It's damn annoying dealing with my classmates, but at least I can only hear their outer voices now." Kusuke frowned. "So you're really not gonna tell me about your little accident?"

Kusuo stood from his seat. "That has nothing to do with you. I don't want any help." Kusuke laughed. "Who said I was offering help?"

I hate my brother.

"But, I'm feeling extra nice today so I'm going to give you some advice. Mom? Dad? Would you be alright if you gave us some privacy?" Kurumi took her husband's hand. "Of course! You too can talk while your father and I have a chat of our own~"

Kusuke smiled. "Our parents are as happy as always." Kusuo made his way to the living room. "You were saying?" He said sharply.

Kusuke sweat dropped. "Ah, yes. Your mind is so powerful. It's where your power comes from. Obviously. But the fact of the matter is, you know yourself so well. That's what gives you the ability to decently control your powers."

Kusuo let out a groan.

I know myself well, thank you very much.

"The only thing that's not keeping your powers in check, is you. But, it's because you don't know yourself right now. A part of your mind is foreign to you which is causing you to lose control. Even without your antennas." He gestured to his head. When he saw Kusuo's brows furrow in confusion, he moved his gesture towards his heart. "Maybe... you're having troubles with a girl...?"

Kusuo nodded to the thought, opening his eyes after (zero) consideration.

"No way in hell. Stop messing around."

"Ah, sorry, sorry." Kusuke apologized. "Well, anyways, you should figure out what's causing your little problem. If you don't, not only you, but someone else is going to get very hurt. Bye now!"

The tv went black in an instant.

So I'm the psychic, and my brother's the psycho. Great.

A/N: Thanks so much for reading! I went on a year long break and left some unfinished chapters behind. As you can tell, my writing is quite bad. I'm updating every day and I'm hoping to improve it! Also, I haven't read the extra chapters until recently and I can't fit everything in that's canon. My apologies again. See you soon!
