Once she was asleep, Saiki held Teruhashi in his arms bridal style.

"I'm totally done with clones." Kusuke sighed. "For now."

Kusuo smiled. "Sure you are."

He looked down at the sleeping girl in his arms. "I'm gonna get her home now. I have a lot to explain."

His brother gave him a nod. "Got it. I'll talk to you later." Kusuo walked off, glancing at each clone one by one.

What a day.

Once he had left the room, Kusuke started laughing. "My genius plan worked out great!" He crouched down at what was left of Kusuu. "Kusuu, you did a good job, helping me get Kusuo a girlfriend!"

The sun was setting now. Saiki's head was too muddled and still perplexed over the occurrence. He walked Teruhashi out of the lab, giving it a long, thoughtful stare.

I shouldn't tell her about my powers this way.

He teleported to her bedroom, slowly setting Teruhashi down onto her bed. He gently tucked her in, pulling a chair out and sitting at her bedside.

Teruhashi was smiling.

With a deep breath, Saiki placed one hand on her forehead.

I need to erase her memory. I'll make her think she made her way home with me after yesterday night. I need her to learn about my powers the right way.

After doing so, he continued to watch her rest. He knew this wasn't going to last long. Almost on cue, her eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Saiki..." She whispered. She turned to her side, facing him. "I thought you left already..."

[I can leave if you want.]

"No, no, I want you to stay." Teruhashi sat upright.

Saiki altered her memory cleanly. Instead of her remembering getting kidnapped, in her mind, Saiki walked her home and was invited inside. After a long conversation, she nodded off, requesting he stay by her bedside.

"You dropped this."

Teruhashi looked at Saiki, watching him pull out her cat plush.

"Oh my gosh! I did?" She gasped. "How careless of me..." She hugged it close.

Saiki sighed. "Teruhashi... I need to tell you something." He scooted closer to her. "It's been like this since I was born. I need you to stay calm and not freak out."

"You're scaring me!" Teruhashi giggled. "You can tell me anything."

"Well, you see... I have psychic powers."

"What?" Teruhashi laughed. "I misheard you. You said you have psychic powers?"

"I have psychic powers. I've had them ever since I was born." Saiki looked at her intensely. "It would be easier if I showed you."

"Uh, okay..." Teruhashi brushed her hair behind her ear. "What can you do?"

She thinks I'm kidding.

Saiki grabbed a mug from Teruhashi's desk. "Watch this." He dropped it on the floor.

"Saiki!" Teruhashi jumped to the edge of her bed. "What did you do?"

"Calm down. I'm not finished," he began. He put his hand over the broken glass and reverted it back to its original shape.

Teruhashi jumped back in surprise. "How'd you do that?!"

"It's my powers. And, remember when you saw Aiura and I by the volcano?" Saiki set the mug down. Teruhashi nodded hastily. "Yeah."

"Well, I used my powers to stop the eruption. I can show you." He placed his hand on her forehead to project the scene into her mind.

Teruhashi was beyond shocked. "What else can you do?" "I can do many things. Levitate, teleport, read minds, print what I think, and see through things." Saiki gave her a brief demonstration of his levitation and teleportation.

"That's crazy. But cool. You're like a superhero..." Teruhashi's mind wandered to a damsel in distress fantasy. "Wait, you can read minds?!"

"Yep." Saiki sighed. "Everything you've ever thought, I can hear."

She hid her face in her palms. "So you always knew I liked you. And how I really was on the inside..."

"...But you still stayed. With your powers... you still stuck around."

He nodded slowly, watching her look up at him. "I don't care what abilities you have or don't have. You're still Saiki." Teruhashi sat on the edge of her bed beside him.

She means every single word.

[You know, every time you had a crazy fantasy about me, I heard each one.]

Teruhashi blushed. "Yeah... it's embarrassing."

Saiki shook his head.

[They were pretty entertaining.]

"I hope things don't change now that I know about your powers. I hope we can stay friends." Teruhashi looked down bashfully.

"Change can be good." Saiki spoke lowly.

Teruhashi looked up at him curiously. "W-what?"

[You're thinking about something.]

Teruhashi blushed furiously. "Well, uh, sorry... bad habit." She squeaked.

[No. Continue.]

Teruhashi was at it again. Having Saiki so close to her... her mind was running as wild as her heart.

She was imagining him beside her, looking at her the same way the boys did. Saiki followed along.

He looked into her eyes with hunger, desperation, and love.

Saiki knew it. He loved her.

He grabbed her hand and let their fingers intertwine, fitting perfectly. Teruhashi gulped, closing her eyes.

[You're not dreaming.]

Her eyes flew open. "Usually I am... when things like this happen..." She whispered.

'This can't be real. I've gone crazy.'

Saiki looked deeper into her mind, coming closer, and closer to her delicate face. He leaned in, and just like Teruhashi oh-so desperately wanted, his lips met hers. Teruhashi kissed him back, fiery passion and sweet coffee jelly crashing into each other. Time almost stopped, reality fading.

They pulled away.

"Saiki..." Teruhashi touched her lips gently.

"I love you too."
