Annabelle...

We started to walk down the path again, except this time, I wasn't dreading it. I was floating on cloud nine, and when he actually took my hand and interlocked our fingers together, I nearly burst with joy. "So, you've been planning this? This whole time?"

"Yes. Yes I have." He smiled proudly.

"I can't believe this." I mumbled with a smile playing on my lips. "So that whole day that you first mentioned liking a girl...you were referring to me? The whole time?"

"Uh huh." He tilted his chin up.

"Wow...you really had me fooled." I laughed. "Really, I should be so pissed at you for droning on and making me feel like I was dying inside. But honestly, I find this whole idea of yours so adorable."

We both laughed and as we finally crossed through the trees, my jaw dropped excitement. "A carnival! You totally stole that from me!!" I shouted when I realized that this was the reason he asked me where I'd wanna go on a first date. He really had been planning this for a while. "You jerk!"

"Well, you like it. Don't you?" He said with a chuckle.

"Yes! I didn't think you'd actually use my suggestion!" I shrieked as I grabbed his hand again and started running into the main entrance.

I felt like a little kid. I was practically bouncing. I'd never been so happy and excited in my life. This day turned out way different than I expected, and I loved it. "Calm down, love. Don't hurt yourself." Niall chuckled as he got out his wallet to pay for our entrance into the carnival, and our tickets for the rides. So that was why Eleanor and Melanie told me to wear shorts.

Wait. Hold on. "Everyone knew about this? The whole time?" I gasped. "The day I cried to Harry! He knew! Didn't he?!"

"Yeah, they all knew. They helped keep my secret. And Harry nearly killed me that day and told me to just come out with it."

"That little idiot! He made up the name Anna didn't he?"

"Why yes he did...Annabelle."

I laughed in realization. Why didn't I catch the similarity before? "One more question, and then all of today will just be fun. There's no party, is there?"

"No." He chuckled. "That was just Louis' dumb way of trying to cover. But I'll give it to him, when you mentioned it, I was really confused at first, but that was actually a good cover up."

"It was."

We got our wrist bands put on, our tickets handed to us, and then we started heading over to the food section to sit down for a minute while we came up with a game plan. "Okay, Princess, what do you want to do first? Whatever you want to do, you name it and we'll do it. Today is all for you." He had an adorable smile as his eyes sparkled.

My insides softened again.

I glanced around to see what we should do first. "Hmm... why don't we..." I looked past his head and a look of excitement spread through my features as I caught a glimpse of a petting zoo. "That!" I shouted as I stood up, pulling him with me.

He started to run to keep up with me and I heard a laugh emulate from him when he saw what I was dragging us too. "Of course, animals. I should've guessed it."

We spent the next hour and a half looking through all the animal exhibits. The petting zoo with all the more interesting animals, like the camels, the llamas, goats, and stuff, was my favorite. We also went in all the cattle, bunny, and horse exhibits. Niall made it a point to have me pose with every type of animal, and he literally bothered every person in the area to take one of us together.
