I told Taeyong to ask my father to come and visit me. I also snuck into one of their rooms and managed to find myself a gun lying in a drawer. I could do it. He deserved it, right?

What the hell was I thinking?

I couldn't kill my father. No matter what he's done.

I sighed as I hid the gun under my jumper. I would have to put it back later, before anyone notices.

"Eunji, your father's here," Mark said as he knocked and walked into my room.

"Thanks, I'll be out in a sec," I reply, still laid down.

"Okay," he said as he awkwardly left the room.

I heaved myself out of bed and made my way out, trying to think about how I could explain me wanting to see him. I would just have to say I missed him or something - I almost vomited as I made my way down the hall.

"Eunji, sweetie, how are you?" My father rose from his seat and smiled at me. Taeyong nervously shifted, standing behind him staring at me. I didn't look at him.

"I mean I was shot but I'm fine."

"Aw, darling, I can't believe that happened, I had no idea he worked there," he said as he rubbed my arm. I tensed under his hand.

"Bullshit," I said as I removed my arm from his hand. I had just about had enough of his crap. He took me away from my Mum, he took my life away from me. He had no right to control me.

"Excuse me?" He said sternly. Taeyong, Yuta and Johnny all visibly tensed in apprehension.

"I'm fed up of your bullshit, I know you used me as bait and I got shot and you don't even fucking care!"

"Eunji, enough with the language, you're being disrespectful!"

"You don't deserve my respect when you don't respect me at all, it works both ways you know, can you just give me a fucking break-"

I was cut short as his hand met my cheek. I slammed onto the floor as my hand instinctively went up to my face. Tears were streaming down my face as I looked up at my father leaning over me.

Taeyong practically ran over and brought me to my feet again, his arms protectively enclosed around me.

"Taeyong, step away, I need to deal with this."

"No."

Taeyong's arms tightened his grip around me as he glared at my father.

"Taeyong, move out of the way."

"I won't let you hurt her."

My hand clung to his waist tightly.

"Taeyong did you break the rules?" My father sternly said. Taeyong just looked back at him, his grip lightly loosening around me. In response I clung even harder, my hand balled around his t-shirt.

"Johnny, Yuta, hold him down," my father commanded. They slowly made their way over, reluctant.

"No!" I shouted.

"Eunji, don't get involved, he broke the rules, he needs to be punished."

Johnny grabbed Taeyong from me and Yuta tugged me away. Taeyong shook his head at me, telling me to stop.

When Yuta grabbed me he brushed his hands against the gun underneath my jumper, his eyes widened in shock. But he stayed silent.

"Taeyong, I made it explicitly clear to you what would happen if anyone touched her," he said emphasising his words as he neared Taeyong. I could see the guilt in Johnny's eyes as he held his friend against his will.

"I apologise sir," Taeyong bowed his head.

My father's fist flew at his ribs. I screamed. Yuta held me back as Taeyong looked at me in pain. Johnny was holding him upright, tentatively gripping his arms.

When Yuta's grip on me slightly loosened in shock, I took my chance. I grabbed the gun from underneath my jumper and aimed it. At my father's head.

"Stop!"

My father looked shocked for a moment before laughing. I furrowed my brows in confusion, I was stood here holding a gun to him and he laughed?

"Eunji, sweetie. Put it down," he said, a slight threat to his voice.

"I'll shoot," I said my hands shaking.

"Eunji..." Taeyong whispered, trying to get my attention. I couldn't look at him.

"Go on Eunji, do it," my father tempted me. I lowered my gun in shame, tears streaming. I could never kill someone.

Pleased, my father went for Taeyong again, grabbing his collar. I stood there helpless watching him suffer.

This time Johnny let go of his friend.

"Yuta, take Eunji to house 149, and make sure she stays there," my father commanded as he wiped Taeyong's blood from his fist, loosening his grip on him.

"Sorry, sir, but I can't do that."

I looked up at Yuta, his eyes slightly wet. I noticed Taeyong edge away from Johnny and behind my father, heading towards me silently, blood dripping down his jaw.

"You will obey my orders Yuta or so god help me."

"No," he said more firmly this time.

My father started to walk over, I stood up next to Yuta in response. My hands were still trembling around the gun. Suddenly, Taeyong grabbed the gun from me and held it towards my father. He just stood still.

"Taeyong, no!" I screamed, clinging onto him.

In quicker than a second Yuta grabbed the gun out of Taeyong's hand and aimed it. My mouth hung open, my father stopped dead in his tracks.

"Yuta!" Taeyong shouted painfully.

"I'm sorry Eunji," Yuta looked at me then back at my father and then released the trigger.
