Chapter 30

"Kai! Wait up." Kyungsoo said as he ran after him and eventually caught up with him. Kai sighed and stopped looking at Kyungsoo.

"Why did you walk away when I was walking towards you?" Kyungsoo asked

"Why did I see you with another boy that wasn't Chen?" Kai spat, "you were supposed to be studying, not hugging some person I don't know."

"Kai calm down, I was coming back from studying and that was an old friend." Kyungsoo told him

"Friend!?!?" Kai chuckled, "he touched your ass Kyungsoo!!" Kai yelled causing Kyungsoo to flinch.

"It didn't mean anything." Kyungsoo confessed

"Maybe it didn't to you but, I don't like it one bit!" Kai raised his voice, "I don't want to see you with him again."

Kyungsoo just looked at Kai and rolled his eyes, "you're overreacting." He mumbled but Kai still heard him.

Out of pure rage, Kai raised his hand and slapped Kyungsoo immediately feeling regret after. Kyungsoo stumbled to the floor dropping everything he was holding as he held his cheek that was stinging in pain.

This brought Kyungsoo back to the first few times they met. How he would constantly switch between being nice and mean. Kai's mean side was back and Kyungsoo was scared to look at him.

"Soo... Kyungsoo." Kai spoke softly and Kyungsoo flinched each time.

Kyungsoo began picking up his belongings as tears fell down his cheeks. He stood up, not even bothering to take a glance at Kai and began walking away.

Kai grabbed his wrist, not realizing how hard he grabbed it. Kyungsoo winced in pain and yanked his hand out of his hold.

"Don't fucking touch me again." He cried as he turned and walked away from him.

He left Kai standing there feeling heartbroken. He cried softly knowing that he might've lost him.

I know y'all hate me cause this is the end of this book and it's gonna be a while until the second book comes out.
