Chris had been teaching you self defense because you were tired of feeling helpless. Today's lesson was using whatever was around to your advantage. He found a steel pipe laying on the floor nearby. "You have to learn how to maneuver it to your advantage" he tried to demonstrate but it rolled out of his hand an clattered to the floor. "Okay not like that" he laughed and you laughed along.
