Underneath all that joy and laughter
is an injured soul that still tries to live
but when its quiet and the shadows
reach out for her
she shakes from her brokenness
and the pain of memories
she does not want to remember
all she thinks to herself
is that its all her own doing
that made her like this
so thats why she hides it
and tries to continue on
with life
and so she is split in half
the happy and the sad
the loving and the angry
the laughs and the tears
the company and the lonely
she knows in time the cut will heal
and become whole
so now she is waiting
and trying to aid in the healing
