Poem 1: Heavenly Children

We follow a faith that has honourable children,
Still young but carrying God's mission,
With such pride and determination,
Glorifying the world with their presence,
Every child should hold in their hearts,
The same essence,
Let us with a loud salawaat,
Show them our love and admiration.

Born in the glorious Kaaba,
The lion of Allah,
The stars every day would migrate,
But when Ali was born,
Around The holy house of God they would all rotate,
He who would only open his eyes to see his Prophet,
He who would share Ahmed's anguish,
Who by his side,
Would smile and flourish.

Just three letters can grant me salvation,
They extend between tribes and nations,
Beyond belief and reason,
They will help all of creation,
I will risk my life on this decision,
Ali is my destination

No Noor compared to the Noor of our nabi,
But Ali Akbar's Noor was unlike any,
The moon was shy to gaze upon his light and beauty,
A young man who died in the name of the Almighty,
Long Live his memory.

Ali Asghar was a baby,
Yet his attacks on the enemy were mighty,
The blow of his tongue was heavy,
He spoke and their mouths were empty,
Without a sword,
This brave warrior brought victory.

Imam Taqi was challenged by many,
A child who spoke so highly,
Their doubts he would shatter quickly,
No man was a match for his generosity,
Al Jawad will forever be his legacy.

These leaders toppled empires of bounty,
They spoke with eloquence and dignity,
No one could see what they could see,
They taught the world humanity,
Their names we shall remember for all eternity.

So let us rejoice,
Recite with our voice,
Show the world love and respect,
As negativity we reject,
Thanking Allah for these role models we have been blessed,
