Lillie is waiting for Ash to finish with him exchanging his Pokémon at the waiting area, while Snowy gives her company.
"What's taking him so long? It's been an hour now....... Snowy, can I tell you a secret?", Lillie asked as she petted her Alolan Vulpix on the head. Snowy says her name happily as she agrees to listen.
"You see..... I have a crush on Ash. He is so kind, cheerful, brave, can be a bit reckless at times, and has an undying love to Pokémon and battling with them. He is the one who really tried his hardest to help me come over my fear of touching Pokémon and he is the one save Mother from Nihilego back in the Ultra Space. I'm only afraid to tell him because he might have feelings for someone else", Lillie whispered as she blushes lightly. Suddenly, Ash came back and Lillie stood up while holding Snowy.
"Hey Lillie, sorry for keeping you waiting", Ash apologized as he scratched the back of his head.
"It's alright, have you finished switching your Pokémon?", Lillie asked.
"Yup, and I have them safe and sound!", Ash answered as Pikachu says his name enthusiastically in agreement.
"Okay, let's get going then", Lillie said as the two left the Pokémon Center back to the Pokémon School. Once they reached the Pokémon School, they were greeted by the others.
"Hey guys, welcome back", Kiawe greeted.
"Where were you?", Sophocles asked.
"The Pokémon Center, I just switched my Pokémon for my old ones", Ash answered.
"Really? Is it a Water-Type?", Lana asked with stars in her eyes.
"Or a Grass-Type?", Mallow questioned.
"You will have to wait and find out", Ash said as he put his finger onto his lips.
"Ash, can you at least tell me? I am your RotomDex after all-ZTT", Rotom asked.
"Okay, but you have to keep it a secret", Ash answered. Ash whispered his Pokémon Team list to Rotom, they both nodded then Rotom flew off somewhere else.
"Why are being so secretive with your Pokémon Ash?", Kiawe asked.
"Because, that's the surprise", Ash answered. Then Sonic and the others came towards them.
"Hey Ash", Sonic greeted.
"Hey guys, are you ready?", Ash asked.
"Ready for what?", Knuckles asked.
"For the fifth surprise and it's against me in a Pokémon Battle! ", Ash declared as Pikachu says his name energetically.
"Okay, who goes first?", Ash asked he walked to the left side of the field.
"let's go by youngest to oldest, Tails you go first", Shadow requested.
"That's a great idea, okay let's do this", Tails said he walk to the right side of the field.
" This is a one on one match between Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and Miles 'Tails' Prower from Hedgehog Ville. If the any sides unable to continue, the match is over and the last one standing is the winner, please call out your Pokémon", Professor Kukui declared.
" Denchi, it's time to fly!", Tails said as he called out his Vikavolt to battle.
" Leavanny, I choose you!", Ash said as he called out an unknown Pokémon.
" That's a Leavanny, a Pokémon native from Unova!", (Y/n) exclaimed as the RotomDexes took pictures of the Nurturing Pokémon.
