Okay, so-

My mom and dad were in the living room talking about my dad's workplace and all the drama going on there. I was unloading the dishwasher while eavesdropping on their conversation. When they were in the middle of their little chit-chat, I interrupted with,

"You girls gossiping?"

In which my mother laughed, my father, however, did not. He simply looks at me and said-

"wHO YOU CALLIN' A GIRL?!"

I smirked and replied with a

"No one."

He then continued with-

"You ever hear a girl with a voice like this?"

Keep in mind, my father has quite the masculine, gruff voice, and I, a female, reluctantly received that genetic somewhat. With that I replied,

"Yes." In a melodic tone with a smile on my face. My father had given an absurd reaction to my answer but relaxed soon after. Out of curiosity, I assume, he asked,

"Is she gay?"

I reply with a simple,

"Maybe... Why not ask her yourself?"

He looked back at me and said,

"Who's she?"

I smiled devilishly,

"ME!"

Both I and my mom burst out laughing, leaving my dad with a disappointed smile on his face.
