"Baaaaabeeeee?" Haylee walked over to where Sam was sitting on the couch.
"Yeeeeesssss?" Sam mocked with a playful smirk.
"Wanna get dog?" She asked sitting down next to him.
"We have a dog?"
"I got Leo 5 years before we started dating. Do you wanna get one together?" Haylee ran her fingers through his hair.
"Okay."
"Really?"
"You seemed surprised. I love dogs."
"I'm surprised you said yes so easily," she chuckled as she pressed her lips to his, "I love you."
"I love you too, baby. Want to go look now?"
"Yes. The Dumb Friend's League isn't too far from here."
Haylee and Sam went to the shelter not sure what kind of dog they wanted. They just knew they would know when they saw the dog meant for them. On the way, they agreed they didn't want a dog any bigger than Leo. Maybe once they moved into a house with a proper backyard.
