Chapter Two

Y/N's P.O.V

"But how?"

Allison questions. 

"I don't know, but we need to have dinner. I'm staving. Vanya you could literally eat a horse. Let's go"

We all walk downstairs; Ben and Klaus joining us on our short vouyge to food. As soon as we reach downstairs, we are greeted by Grace who tells us to sit down and wait for dinner. That we do. When we sit down, Five joins us. He sits next to me while Ben and Klaus are near me. Luther, Allison, Diego and Vanya are on the other side.

We end up breaking into different conversations. I could hear Diego talk about finally having Mum's food again because he hadn't had it for a long time.

"Silence!"

Everyone goes quiet. Our 'father' ,Sir Reginald Hargreeves, in the flesh, sits down at the end of the table closest to the door and the fire. His brown, grey-ish hair, slicked back. His eyes frowned and the winkles on his face, begin to slowly appear. His shiny, gold monocle latched onto his left eye.

"No talking at the table."

I mentally groan. I forgot how much I disliked this.

Grace appears with food and gives everyone a plate while 'thank you's and 'your welcomes' are exchanged.

After having the beef stew in silence, I asked if I could leave the table. Naturally, he let everyone go and retreated to his gloomy place, he calls a study.

I feel one of my sleeves get tugged on and I look to see who it was. Ben. Jesus! Talking to him is going to be like normal for Klaus and I. On the other hand, the others are going to find it strange. Very strange.

"Is it okay if I can talk to you and Klaus?"

I smile. He takes my hand and leads me up to Klaus' room. He opens the door to see Klaus looking dazed and confused. We both raise our eyebrows at him, wondering what on earth he could be looking for.

"Where is it?"

"Where's what?"

"The drugs"

I sign. I walk over to Klaus and yank him away to face us. However, I accidentally use more strength than I thought and pull him away hard, only for him to land on the bed.

"Ben! How does it feel to be alive again?"

"Don't try to change the subject"

Klaus looks offended.

"I was asking you a question and you're telling me that I'm not allowed"

Ben folds his arms.

"Why are you looking for drugs? You're thirteen for Christ's sake!"

Klaus groans and rolls on his bed. Therefore, landing on the floor. I shake my head. I'll leave this to Ben. He knows Klaus better than we all do. I give Ben a pat on the back and a quick smile, then walk away.

I jump to my room to see Five sitting at the window. I walk over and sit on the window sill. We both look up at the sky as it drawns it's way from daylight. I hear a sign escape Five's lips.

"You know what?"

I look at him. Wow! The light really makes his skin and facial features shine even more.

"You all have to through what I've been going through for the last week"
