Chapter 10🌼-Confession

KHAIRAT'S POV

"The wedding of your son Usman and my daughter Ruma" the man said

"Which wedding?" Ya Usman asked coldly

"My dear, your marriage with Rumaisa" the woman replied confidently

Ya Usman looked at both Abbie and Mamii "I'm sorry, I can't" he said standing up and left

"You really need to take care of your son's manners" the woman added and mamii sent her a deadly glare

"Suhailat, you are in no position to tell me how to take care of my son" mamii said

"Rayyan, we need to talk to Usman first about this" Abbie said

"But why, you brought this proposal even before Ayaan's wedding" Rayyan asked a bit calmly

"Yes we did, but that was only a suggestion, let's talk to Usman first" Abbie added trying to reason with them

"Nonsense, Muhammad and Khairi's wedding was arranged, they had no choice but to accept it and so will Usman and Rumaisa" Suhailat added a bit rudely

"For your information Suhailat, Ayaan's wedding might be arranged but we made sure that he was OK with it first" mamii added about to loose her temper anymore

Suhailat stood up "don't dare call me or my family again unless you have agreed to this marriage" she said before storming out,Ruma followed her while Rayyan gave mamii and Abbie an apologetic smile

"I am so sorry, I'll talk to her" he said shaking Abbie's hands

"No problem" Abbie replied

Mamii stood up and left, Abbie followed her.

"Well,that was interesting" bahi said and zahra glared at her before standing up and walking away.

"Bahi, keep Khairi company before I come back" Ayaan said and she nodded, he kissed my forehead "I'll be back, I'll just talk to Ya Usman" he whispered in my ear and I smiled before he walked away, I guess he is pretending as if we're on talking terms.

Bahi dragged me to her room while Feenah went to zahra's room.

We sat down on her queen size bed "so how are you and Ya Ayaan?" She asked

"We're both fine"

"Hey I wanted to talk to you about Ruma" she said

"What about her?"

"Ruma and Ya Ayaan studied together at England, she had always loved him but when she found out about his wedding with you she vowed to destroy your wedding life"

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because I don't want you to blame Ya Ayaan if she ever does something drastic"

"Drastic like?"

"Kissing him on your wedding night"

"How do you know about that?"

"I overheard her and Adda zahra talking"

"Bahi how sure are you that he's not in love with her?"

"Only Ya Ayaan can answer that"

We kept talking till Ayaan came and said that we're leaving, we bade everyone goodbye before leaving.

All through the ride back home he didn't say a word to me and neither did I but we need to talk.

"Ayaan can we talk?" I said as we entered the house

"About what" he asked sitting on the couch

"About Ruma" I said and he sighed

"What about her?"

"Do you love her?" I asked

"Is this about that kiss?" He asked and I nodded

"Khairi, I don't love her"

"But why did you kissed her back?"

"Khairi, that was a mistake, I admit that Ruma and I used to date but we broke up a year ago"

"I don't believe you"

"What the hell?, Khairi I'm telling you the truth"

"Ayaan-" I started but was cut off when he pushed me to the wall and I hit my back, he puts his hands on each side close to my face making me look into his eyes

"UMMULKHAIRI I AM TELLING YOU THE DAMN TRUTH, I LOVE YOU AND YOU ONLY, EVERSINCE WE WERE KIDS, KHAIRI I LOVE YOU, I DON'T LOVE RUMAISA AT ALL" he yelled and tears started to roll outta my eyes,his eyes immediately flashed with regret before I could say anything he made the contact. 

"I missed you" he said and I smiled

"You missed me or my kisses?" I asked smirking.

"Both" he replied and I chuckled

"But I meant what I said, I love you Khairi" he said and I stared into his eyes and this time, I believed him

"I love you too Ayaan" I said and he grinned before kissing me again, deeply this time.
