The next day, Ian and Hannah decided to go check on Mickey. They walked into the house. Beer bottles, beer cans, anything that contained alcohol was everywhere. They walked into to see Mickey passed out on the floor. Hannah has seen this all before. It was too familiar to her. Mickey was turning into her father. It scared her. Ian got a trash bag and started to pick up the bottles and cans. Hannah kicked Mickey a little. He didn't get up. Hannah got paper and a pen. She wrote Mickey a note and laid it on the table. "Let's go," Hannah said to Ian. Ian dropped the trash bag and followed her out the door.
Mickey woke up a little after nine pm. He stood up he was a little dizzy but he staggered to the fridge fine. He opened it and got a beer. He saw Hannah's note. He read it, Mickey, We are staying at the Gallagher's till you turn yourself around, love Hannah and Ian. Mickey crumbled up the paper and threw it at the wall. He's fine he told himself. He doesn't need to turn himself around. He opened his beer and took a swig. He wanted to cry. He wanted to go after them but he couldn't. He was scared to.
