i cannot wait for the day
that i get to come home
to my lovely wife
or husband
and hear
welcome home honey
the days where i get to walk through the door and ask my kids
how was your day at school honey?
the days that i get to hug my family and say
it's all going to be okay honey
and
nothing can shake that in me
i am excited for the life i haven't lived yet
