It's been four days since last incident. Well, incident I've been present to. Seems like those bastards are still step ahead, just like before.
These past few days were calm as well. Maybe too calm.
I even spoke with Shadow Forces. Cool name if you ask me, but it turned out it's just bunch of Officers without any useful info.
Shame.
Right now I'm in office mostly trying not to fall asleep standing while listening to what seems endless yack about Equalist threat.
It may seem irresponsible, but they couldn't get nothing new and I'm realy thinking what to say Chief about their work.
I shake my head slightly when my eyelids became heavy once more.
Damn.
I think I haven't slept for more than 24 hours by now.
"-we have also suspicion on-"
I bluntly listened to their babbling, but my mind was far, far away.
Flashback
"I can't believe you! You were employed by Hiroshi Sato, then fired and you left with nothing more than bike named Speedy?!"
Bolin shouted while laughing.
We were in their apartment on top of Pro-Bending Arena. Only three of us, laughing, just like the old times.
"Hey!" I said faking hurt. "It's called Hybrid Powered Satocycle Prototype! And besides, it's mine, I can call whatever I want!"
It was great, I watched them play, meet Asami, well again, and Korra, who wasn't trying to rip my head off. Truly pleasant evening.
"I am Bolin. I get caught by Equalists." I said mockingly.
Bolin grew his stupid grin and stood up.
"I am (Y/N), but call me Mr. Smartypants and I am a cop."
I only laughed at this.
"And why do you think I wanted to be a policeman? To save your sorry asses."
"It's good to have you back (Y/N)."
Surprisingly this was said by Mako who was quiet so far.
I couldn't help but cracked smile.
"It's good to be back."
End of Flashback
"-enant, Lieutenant! Are you there?
I shaked my head.
Crap. I had to doze for a minute.
Chill. Play it cool, no harm done.
"Of course. All of you've done great job. Keep it up."
I stated with what I believe was the most fake smile they've ever seen.
It looked like leader wanted to say something, but before he could even open his mouth, radio, started cracking with static.
"What's that." I muttered under my breath.
