Ahoy, ahoy, yer sailor, me
Has seen a sight, a sight to see
A beautiful blessing for the eyes
But all illusions, and all lies
For the wicked witch was she
Under her spell, I was, I be
Time goes on and time will go
I bend down, and my head bowed
A prayer above, I send with hope
For, it feels like I'm tied with ropes
As this spell is a cruel curse
As each day passes it gets worse
The curse of love, it is, me lad
No one knows if good or bad
She caught me with em orbs of brown
I, a mere sailor, she a queen with a crown
She got me smile, she caught me staring
She held her head high and started glaring
We stood the stand and stared and glared
One to be the winner and one to be spared
And the winner was I, for I did win
She gave me a sigh, lad, love is a sin
For we kill for love, we scar, we tear
Yet, love gets rid of our deepest fears
And so it did, my fear of pain
Because with love, pain will rain
Heavy blows on heart and soul
Yet you can't help but smile, not scowl
Her gentle touch, it went within
Much much deeper beneath the skin
Her smile, how perfect was her smile
I walked in mud, she walked in tile
So far up above was she
Cursed I was, and cursed I be
She was somewhere I couldn't reach
Even if I swam from beach to beach
She brought tears in eyes of mine
Beauty, mere words cannot define
Her laugh, prettier than a flower's bloom
She's perfect when happy, perfect when in gloom
Alas, alas, all lost, you see
Suitors crushed and shattered me
They wanted the crown and not her heart
My bleeding heart, it's tearing apart
But she? So ready to say goodbyes
Not once, not twice, a million times
It was then I realized she didn't care
Whether I was or wasn't there
She played the game and made me lose
Cried, I did, with knees held close
To my searing, aching chest
For she was the one, she was the best
You see, the wicked witch was she
This pain, oh pain, I'll never be free
Stole my heart and let it shatter
I slowly realized I didn't matter
It hit me like lightning in a storm
My heart, my mind, my soul, all worn
All of it filled with sharpened knives
Enough to finish a million lives
Plucked them out one by one
Made a pledge under the heat of the sun
Never to fall in love, me lad
Not again, after all that had
Happened and in fear of what will
My solace, it is all in the dark still
But what I felt, and what I feel,
Different worlds, it don't seem real
Full of joy and smiles was I
But it ended and all I could do was cry
For the wicked witch was she
Putting the spell of love on me
Then cutting up the strings of my heart
Alas, alas, it's in a million parts
My mates, they be, "Move on, move on!"
Oh I tried, she is never gone
Still see her with open eyes and closed
She the treasure that I lost
And the wicked witch is she,
Who is my love and will forever be
