I started to drive away from Nicko's house. Could this day get any worst? Nung una nakita ko nanaman yung impaktitang yon then tinanggihan ako ni Nicko sa aking alok tapos paparinggan ako ni Carlene ng ganun ganon lang? I screamed inside my car for full of frustration that possesses my heart and mind.

Nagdesisyon akong pumunta sa bahay nina tito (Nicko's father) para makipag-usap. Naririnig ko ang mga halakhak sa labas palang ng bahay nila.

"What a distraction! Nandito nanaman sila!" I complained.

Hindi ako kumatok at deretso akong pumasok sa loob. The maids greeted me in unison and bowed as Nickolas' girlfriend. Nicko's friends were literally in shock when the saw me standing in there staring at their useless craziness.

"Oh Veronica! What a surprise... di ka namin ineexpect" sabi ni Qriva.

"Kaya nga surprise diba? Syempre di mo maeexpect" then inirapan ko sila and nilagpasan ko sila, saktong nakarinig naman ako ng pagbubulungan mula sa kanila.

"Ano bang ginagawa nila dito? Pampaingay lang naman sila dito... nakakaistorbo pa kay tito" I muttered.

I walked through tito Norman's office. (Norman=Nicko's dad)

I was allowed anytime to go inside for I am Norman's favorite rather than his own daughter Krishta.

I wasn't surprised nung nakita kong nakatingin nanaman sya sa kanyang computer and typing.

"Knock knock?" I said to catch his attention.

"Oh" napatingin sya sa akin. "Veronica... it's been days since I saw you, you look eye-catching tonight" he said.

"Of course I am, tito Norman" I smiled kasi alam ko naman yon.

"What I can I do for you?" He asked.

"It's about your son" I stopped. "A.K.A. my fiancé"

"What about him?"

"It's because she's back"

"Who's back?"

"Nicko's ex-girlfriend"

"He had an ex?" He stood up. Anger present in his face. "You mean Sabrina right?"

"Hindi po"

Then nagulat sya pati na rin ako... di ba nya alam yun?

"Oh.." I covered my mouth. "Did I spill an information about his past? Oh I'm sorry..... but yeah he had an ex"

"Oh so what about this ex that you're talking about?" He said in a darker tone.

"Ever since na bumalis yung ex nya ay nag-iba na ang ugali nya." I added a sad tone to make him believe. "Tinatanggihan na nya ako at iba na ang pakikitungo nya sa akin" I explained and I let out a fake tear.

Lumapit sya sa akin pinahid ang luha ko.

"Don't worry my future daughter-in-law, I don't want you seeing like this." Then I nodded.

He seated on the top of his table and looked at me.

"Okay here's the deal...if this keeps up, call me and I'll do the rest"

I smirked and he tapped my shoulder. Umalis na ako at nakasalubong ko naman si Claire. (Claire=Nicko's Mom)

[A/N: Veronica doesn't give a shit about Nicko's relatives except his father. Syempre yun lang yung kakampi nya don kaya ganun ganun nalang... walang respeto sa iba.]
