Burden
Tears falling from his eyes. I saw the blood from his head, falling like there is no end but despite of that, He still wear his smile, a sad smile that makes me reminisce what happened in the past.
“hid your self and don’t you ever make a noise.” Mom says.
I know it was all her fault. I was young then but I know she is having an affair with an old man, she’s having an affair with a criminal that is now trying to kill my family.
I hid at our cabinet, A six years old girl can easily fit inside. I hear the foot steps coming near the cabinet where I hide.
“Help!” the voice of my mom fulfill the silence. I move the cabinet’s door to see a little view and there I witness how the old man stab his knife towards my mom and dad.
I am too dumb to move, I am too weak to even scream and help my parents. I was young then, I was useless.
I’m traumatize. I think I would never get over on what happened 11 years ago.
