Shrieking
Rattling my core
Frozen at the corridor
Seething
She blocked my path
Attempts for naught to make it past
Wheezing
Little air could reach my lungs
Shaking of the temple come undone
Crumble
Falling from above I run to her
The demon screamed a thousand year old curse
Rotted flesh was her corpse
Mummified and distorted
Shattering my courage
Running in circles
Never ending
Til her screams alone remained
In my memory ingrained
With no escape
